Müstəqil Dövlətlər Birliyinin (MDB) Dövlətlərarası Statistika Komitəsinin təşkilatçılığı ilə Böyük Vətən müharibəsində qazanılmış qələbənin 80-ci ildönümünə həsr olunan "Qələbənin rəqəmləri və faktları" mövzusunda onlayn statistik viktorina keçirilib. Viktorinada Azərbaycanı 6 ali təhsil müəssisəsinin tələbələri təmsil edib. Yarışmada 100 azərbaycanlı tələbə arasından 28 nəfər 100 baldan yuxarı nəticə göstərib. Onlardan biri də Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) Maşınqayırma və robotexnika fakültəsinin tələbəsi Kənan Niftəliyevdir. Kənan Niftəliyevə viktorinada iştirak sertifikatı təqdim olunub.

Yasamal rayonunda ulu öndər Heydər Əliyevin anadan olmasının 102 illiyinə həsr olunan basketbol turniri başa çatıb. Bağlanış mərasimində Yasamal Rayon İcra Hakimiyyəti başçısının müavini Təravət Muradova, Bakı Şəhər Gənclər və İdman İdarəsinin Yasamal rayonu üzrə gənclər və idman sektorunun müdiri İlham Səfərov, YAP Yasamal rayon təşkilatının məsləhətçisi Fuad Həbibzadə, Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetin (AzTU) prorektoru Rəşad Əliyev, idman klublarının rəhbərliyi və yarış iştirakçıları iştirak edib.  Turnirdə ölkəmizin aparıcı ali təhsil müəssisələrini təmsil edən 4 komanda iştirak edib.Gərgin və maraqlı mübarizəsi şəraitində keçən turnirin finalında Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) komandası Azərbaycan Memarlıq və İnşaat Universitetinin (AzMİU) komandasına qalib gələrək birinci yerin sahibi olub.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universiteti (AzTU) Alman Akademik Mübadilə Xidmətinin (DAAD) dəstəyi və DAAD-nin AzTU-da alman dili müəllimi Klaudio Kasperlin təşkilatçılığı ilə “Falling Walls Lab” beynəlxalq müsabiqəyə ev sahibliyi edəcək. “Falling Walls Lab” müsabiqəsi ilk dəfə olaraq Azərbaycandan müraciət edəcək fərdi tədqiqatçılar və tələbələr üçün açıq elan olunub. Layihənin əsas məqsədi müstəsna yaradıcı ideyaları təbliğ etmək və elmin bütün sahələrindən perspektivli gənc alim və tələbələri qlobal səviyyədə tanınmış platformada birləşdirməkdir. İştirakçılara beynəlxalq müsabiqədə iştirak etməklə öz tədqiqatlarını, biznes modellərini və ya təşəbbüslərini həmyaşıdlarına, yüksək səviyyəli münsiflər heyətinə və geniş ictimaiyyətə təqdim etmək imkanı yaradılır. Namizədliyi təsdiq edilmiş müsabiqə iştirakçılarına təqdimat bacarıqları üzrə (piching) onlayn təlimlərin keçirilməsi nəzərdə tutulur. Müsabiqədə iştirak edəcək namizədlərin layihələri Azərbaycanın ali təhsil müəssisələri, elmi-tədqiqat institutları və sənaye müəssisələrindən ibarət olacaq münsiflər heyəti tərəfindən qiymətləndiriləcək. Müsabiqənin yekun tədbiri iyunun 17-də AzTU-nun ev sahibliyi ilə keçiriləcək. Müsabiqənin Azərbaycan üzrə qalibi 2025-ci ilin noyabr ayında Berlində keçiriləcək yekun müsabiqədə öz layihəsini təqdim edəcək. 

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetində (AzTU) "Əmək Bazarına Hazırlıq İndeksi" pilot layihəsi çərçivəsində Dövlət Məşğulluq Agentliyinin İdarə Heyəti sədrinin müavini Hasil Abbasov və agentliyin nümayəndələri ilə görüş keçirilib. Məqsəd tələbələrin əmək bazarına hazırlıq səviyyəsinin artırılması, onların zəruri səriştə və bacarıqlarla təmin olunması istiqamətində müzakirələr aparmaq olub. Rektor Vilayət Vəliyev bildirib ki, tələbələrin məşğulluğunun və əmək bazarına inteqrasiyasının təmin edilməsi məqsədilə həyata keçirilən pilot layihə onların fərdi inkişafı istiqamətində də faydalı olacaq. Dövlət Məşğulluq Agentliyinin İdarə Heyəti sədrinin müavini Hasil Abbasov tələbələrin fərdi inkişafı və gələcək məşğulluq imkanlarının artırılması üçün həyata keçirilən "Əmək Bazarına Hazırlıq İndeksi" layihəsi barədə məlumat verib. Görüş zamanı layihənin tətbiqi imkanları və test nümunələri təqdim olunub, layihədən gözləntilər müzakirə edilib.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetində (AzTU) fəaliyyət göstərən Cənubu Koreyadan olan qonaq professor Woojik Chunun (Vujik Çin) akademik fəaliyyəti davam edir. Professor İnformasiya texnologiyaları və telekommunikasiya fakültəsinin tələbələrinə “Obyekt yönümlü proqramlaşdırma”, “Şəbəkənin əsasları” və “Kompüter şəbəkələri” fənlərindən mühazirələr deyib.  O, eyni zamanda, müvafiq fənlərin tədrisi ilə bağlə beynəlxalq təcrübəsini AzTU müəllimləri ilə bölüşür.  Professor akademik fəaliyyət ilə yanaşı fakültənin beynəlxalq əlaqələrinin inkişafı istiqamətində məsləhətlər də verir. Məlumat üçün bildiririk ki, qonaq professor Cənubu Koreyanın Koreya Beynəlxalq Əməkdaşlıq Agentliyinin (KOICA) dəstəyi ilə Koreya Respublikasının Ticarət, Sənaye və Energetika Nazirliyi yanında Milli İnformasiya Texnologiyaları Sənayesinin Təşviqi Agentliyinin (NIPA) “Dünyanın Dostları Koreya (WFK) Məsləhətçiləri Proqramı” çərçivəsində AzTU-da fəaliyyət göstərir. 

The Republican scientific conference on “Advanced technologies and innovations” dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev has begun at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev, welcoming the participants, noted that interest in the conference, which is traditionally held every year, has increased this year. Noting the importance of transforming the final results of research into industry, the Rector brought to the attention of the conference participants that the defense industry, security issues and various technology topics are of strategic importance for the country and that the academic staff of AzTU is continuously working in this area. In addition, the AzTU Rector emphasized the importance of publishing the best 50 articles in research works and scientific articles in prestigious international scientific databases such as “Scopus”, “Web of Science” and attracting foreign partners to the conference in the future. Rizvan Nabiyev, a deputy of the Milli Majlis, said that today the development of digital technologies significantly increases the economic power of countries. He said that personnel training should actually be considered a matter of national security of the country. At present, a powerful defense industry is one of the main priorities for our country. Aykhan Huseynli, chief specialist of the Electronic Security Service, in his scientific report on “Cybersecurity - the fundamental pillar of the digital era”, spoke about various cyber attacks on state institutions in the world and in the country. According to the researcher, the cyber threat incidents that occur not only damage the reputation of states, but also create real economic and social threats. As a strategic issue for the country, highly professional personnel training should be continuous and the number of research works in this area should be increased. Rasul Gojayev, a student of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications, made a presentation on the topic “Li-Fi Technology: Architectures and Data Transmission Mechanisms”. Rasul Gojayev made an analogy between the technology of the future, “Li-Fi”, and the currently relevant “Wi-Fi”, and informed the conference participants about the advantages and disadvantages of each. This year, in addition to AzTU, more than 550 scientific articles were sent to the conference from higher education institutions such as Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Azerbaijan University of Economics (UNEC), Sumgayit State University (SDU), Nakhchivan State University (NDU), Odlar Yurdu University (OYU), and Western Caspian University. The conference, which continues with section meetings, will conclude its work on May 2.

Employees of the Azexport.az portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, held a meeting at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The purpose of the meeting was to provide AzTU students with detailed information on the topic "The contribution of the Azexport.az portal to the economy and international e-commerce platforms", to hold educational discussions on digital trade and ways to access international markets on Amazon, eBay and other international platforms. Opening the event with an introductory speech, AzTU Vice-Rector for Finance and Economic Affairs Rashad Aliyev said that e-commerce is the main pillar of the digital economy in modern times. The Vice-Rector spoke about the innovations that AzTU has brought to this field as an educational institution, the more practical nature of classes within the framework of university-industry cooperation, the importance of students approaching problems as creative solutions and thinking about their startups, and the contributions they will ultimately make to the business world. He recommended that AzTU students who want to succeed in this field develop their digital skills, develop their ability to analyze and make quick decisions, and adapt, learn the latest trends and trends, and most importantly, work with artificial intelligence. The head of the "Azexport.az" portal, Aykhan Gadashov, first expressed his gratitude to the AzTU administration for creating the conditions for the meeting. He then provided information about the services provided by the portal, e-commerce, its advantages and risks. Making a presentation on the topic of "Digital self-employment opportunities", Aykhan Gadashov noted that the reputation and number of users of e-commerce in the world and in Azerbaijan is increasing year by year and recommended that students focus on this direction. Then, he shared his knowledge and experience with AzTU students about the working principles, rules of international e-commerce platforms such as "Amazon", "e-Bay" and the requirements of the sales process in the digital world. After the speeches, a question-and-answer session began and the event concluded with panel discussions.

The Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Student Youth Organization (SYO) organized a oratory training titled "I wish they would listen to me too." The main goal of the training, which was conducted with the participation of trainer Zaur Jahangirov, is to develop students' ability to communicate effectively, perform successfully in presentations and debates, use body language and tone of voice correctly, and also develop critical and analytical thinking skills. The training, which was held in the courtyard of AzTU, continued in a question-and-answer format.

The closing ceremony of the futsal competition of the Spartakiad dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The event, organized by the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) of AzTU, was attended by the delegation of the university and AFFA, students and guests. According to the results of the game, the Faculty of Metallurgy and Chemical Technology was awarded 1st place, the Faculty of Economics and Management was awarded 2nd place, and the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications was awarded 3rd place. The winning teams were awarded diplomas, medals and cups.

The “Eco” exhibition was held with the support of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and the Union of Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations, and organized by the AzTU Student Youth Organization (SYO). The goal is to raise awareness on environmental protection, form ecological awareness among students, and increase attention to ecological problems. The project also shared information on topics such as sustainable development, waste management, renewable energy sources, and ecological technologies, and demonstrated innovative ideas and ecological initiatives.
