AzTU team qualified for the semifinals of the international competition to be held in Georgia

The regional stage of the “50th ICPC – Interuniversity International Programming Competition” was held in Azerbaijan. The competition was organized by the “ICPC Azerbaijan” community, Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and ADA University, in partnership with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.

The regional stage of the competition was organized at AzTU.

52 teams from 20 higher education institutions of Azerbaijan (each consisting of three students and one team leader), as well as 3 teams of schoolchildren outside the competition, participated in the competition.

The teams were tasked with solving 12 algorithmic problems in C++, Java or Python programming languages ​​within 5 hours and testing these solutions in an automatic evaluation system.

According to the results of the competition, the "AzTU4" team (Samad Mastanov, Alimdar Musayev, Yusif Ismayilov, team leaders: Kenan Askerli, Etibar Seyidzadeh) was awarded a III degree certificate and received the right to participate in the semi-final stage of the "50th ICPC - International Interuniversity Programming Competition" and the South Caucasus Open Championship (in team and individual nominations) to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia on December 15-17, 2025. 21 teams will represent Azerbaijan in the semi-final stage of the competition.
