On December 16, 2025, a training session on the use of the AMAS system was organized at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). During the training, Bakhtiyar Badalov, Director of the Research and Development Department of AzTU, provided detailed information about the functional capabilities of the AMAS system and its implementation mechanisms. The impact of the AMAS system on the differentiated salary mechanism, the registration procedure within the system, as well as potential technical and organizational issues that may arise during its use were highlighted. Participants were informed about effective use of the system and ways to promptly resolve possible problems. The training was attended by numerous staff members representing various faculties and departments of the university. At the end of the session, participants’ questions were answered and an exchange of views on the topic took place. The training aimed to contribute to the more efficient implementation of the AMAS system across the university.

Within the framework of institutional cooperation with Elsevier, a leading global provider of scientific information and analytics, Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) has obtained official access to the SciVal research analytics platform. A relevant agreement has been signed between the parties, granting AzTU’s academic and administrative staff the right to use SciVal for institutional research analysis and strategic planning. SciVal is an internationally recognized analytical platform designed to support higher education and research institutions in assessing research performance, analyzing scientific productivity and impact, identifying collaboration networks, and benchmarking against global peers. The integration of SciVal into AzTU’s research management infrastructure is expected to significantly enhance evidence-based decision-making, improve institutional research governance, and strengthen the university’s position within the international academic and scientific landscape. As part of this collaboration, on 15 December 2025, a training session dedicated to the effective use of the SciVal platform was conducted for the senior management of Azerbaijan Technical University. Ms. Saida Sak, a representative of Elsevier, delivered the training. During the session, the core functionalities of the platform, its analytical indicators, and methodologies for evaluating research performance at the institutional level were presented in detail. Special attention was given to the practical application of SciVal data in strategic research planning, identification of priority research areas, enhancement of international research collaboration, and improvement of overall academic management efficiency. The training also emphasized the role of SciVal analytics in aligning institutional research strategies with global scientific trends and performance benchmarks. It should be noted that, in the next stage, additional training sessions and methodological support activities are planned for AzTU’s academic staff to ensure the effective and sustainable use of the SciVal platform. These initiatives are expected to contribute to the university’s deeper integration into the global research ecosystem and to the further development of its scientific potential.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) 75 illik yubileyi çərçivəsində universitetin Teatr Klubu növbəti dəfə dramaturq Mirzə Fətəli Axundovun "Hekayəti-müsyö Jordan və dərviş Məstəli şah" komediyasını səhnələşdirib. Teatr Klubunun üzvləri tamaşanı AzTU rəhbərliyi, əməkdaşları və tələbələri qarşısında təqdim edib. Maraqlı səhnə tərtibatı, tələbələrin aktyorluq bacarağı izləyicilərin alqışları ilə müşayiət olunub. Qeyd edək ki, 1850-ci ildə Azərbaycan dilində yazılmış əsərin mahiyyəti savadsızlığın, cəhalətin tənqid olunması, elmin insan həyatını dəyişərək onu inkişaf etdirməsidir. Tamaşadan sonra rektor Vilayət Vəliyev tələbələrlə söhbət edib, onlara maraqlı təqdimat üçün təşəkkürünü bildirib. Qeyd edib ki, AzTU-da tələbələrin asudə vaxtlarının təşkili ilə bağlı bir sıra layihələr həyata keçirilir, müxtəlif tələbə klubları fəaliyyət göstərir. Rektor tələbələrin sözügedən klublarda iştirakını müsbət qiymətləndirib və onlara növbəti layihələrdə uğurlar arzulayıb. Tələbələr də öz növbəsində onlara göstərilən diqqətə və yaradılan şəraitə görə AzTU rəhbərliyinə təşəkkür ediblər.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universiteti (AzTU) “UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025” beynəlxalq reytinq nəticələrinə əsasən 835-ci (2024-cü ildə 1014-cü) pilləyə yüksəlib. 2024-cü ildə AzTU-nun ümumi balı 4645 olduğu halda, 2025-ci ildə 5798 bala çatıb. Qiymətləndirmə meyarları üzrə “Setting & Infrastructure”, “Energy & Climate Change”, “Waste”, “Water”, “Transportation” və “Education & Research” indikatorlarında nəzərəçarpacaq artım qeydə alınıb.Əldə olunan nəticələr universitetdə son illər aparılan institusional islahatların, dayanıqlı inkişaf prinsiplərinə əsaslanan idarəetmənin, ekoloji məsuliyyətin artırılması istiqamətində görülən işlərin, eləcə də təhsil və elmi-tədqiqat fəaliyyətinin gücləndirilməsinin məntiqi nəticəsidir.Qeyd edək ki, AzTU  beynəlxalq standartlara uyğun fəaliyyətin genişləndirilməsi, “yaşıl universitet” konsepsiyasının tətbiqi və qlobal reytinqlərdə mövqelərinin daha da möhkəmləndirilməsi istiqamətində sistemli tədbirlərin həyata keçirilməsini davam etdirir.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) Xüsusi texnika və texnologiya fakültəsinin bir qrup tələbəsinin Hərb Tarixi Muzeyinə ekskursiyası təşkil edilib. Ekskursiya zamanı bildirilib ki, iki mərtəbədən ibarət olan Hərb Tarixi Muzeyi 1992-ci ildə yaradılıb. Tələbələrə Azərbaycan hərb tarixinin qədim dövrlərdən bu günə qədər keçdiyi inkişaf yolu, ordumuzun istifadə etdiyi müxtəlif texnikalar və silah nümunələri barədə geniş məlumat verilib. Tələbələr muzeydə ulu öndər Heydər Əliyevin həyat və fəaliyyətini əks etdirən fotolar, sənədlər, şəxsi əşyalar, hərbi geyim nümunəsi və onun ordu quruculuğu sahəsində gördüyü işlərlə yaxından tanış olublar. Bundan əlavə, tələbələrə 44 günlük Vətən müharibəsinə həsr edilmiş Zəfər zalı, eləcə də muzeyin həyətində nümayiş etdirilən hərbi texnikalar barədə ətraflı məlumat təqdim edilib.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) Enerji və Dayanıqlı İnkişaf İnstitutu ilə SEforALL (Sustainable Energy for All) təşkilatı arasında ilkin tanışlıq görüşü keçirilib. Onlayn formatda keçirilən görüşdə AzTU-dan beynəlxalq əlaqələr üzrə prorektor Fariz Məmmədov və Enerji və Dayaniqli İnkişaf İnstitutunun direktoru vəzifəsini müvəqqəti icra edən Nicat Hüseynov, SEforALL tərəfdən isə təşkilatın əməkdaşlıq və inkişaf məsələləri üzrə direktoru Mikael Melin və təşkilatın əməkdaşı Yasaman Sharif iştirak edib. Görüşün əsas məqsədi AzTU və SEforALL arasında potensial əməkdaşlıq istiqamətlərini dəyərləndirmək, universitetin dayanıqlı və bərpa olunan enerji texnologiyaları, enerji səmərəliliyi və iqlim dəyişiklikləri üzrə tədqiqat potensialı ilə SEforALL-un qlobal təşəbbüsləri arasında sinerji yaratmaq olub. Tərəflər 2026-cı ildə SEforALL ilə əməkdaşlığın genişləndirilməsi, professor-müəllim heyətinin gələcəkdə təşkilatın layihələrinə elmi-metodoloji dəstək göstərməsi, analitik yanaşmalar təqdim etməsi və birgə tədbirlərin təşkili ilə bağlı fikir mübadiləsi aparıblar.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) Biotibbi Mühəndislik İnstitutunun təşkilatçılığı, Səhiyyə Nazirliyinin tabeliyində fəaliyyət göstərən Orqan Donorluğu və Transplantasiyası üzrə Koordinasiya Mərkəzinin təşəbbüsü ilə tələbələr üçün orqan donorluğu mövzusunda maarifləndirmə tədbiri keçirilib. Məqsəd tələbələr arasında orqan donorluğu ilə bağlı məlumatlılıq səviyyəsinin artırılması və bu sahədə ictimai şüurun formalaşdırılması olub. AzTU-nun tədris işləri üzrə prorektoru professor Nurəli Yusifbəyli orqan donorluğunun mənəvi və sosial əhəmiyyəti barədə danışıb, tələbələrin bu istiqamətdə maarifləndirilməsinin önəmini vurğulayıb.  Orqan Donorluğu və Transplantasiyası üzrə Koordinasiya Mərkəzinin İdarə Heyətinin sədr müavini Günay Abbasova orqan donorluğunun əhəmiyyəti, Azərbaycanda bu sahədə həyata keçirilən tədbirlər və tətbiq mexanizmləri barədə ətraflı məlumat verib. Bildirib ki, Azərbaycanda orqan donorluğu və transplantasiya sahəsi qanunvericiliklə tənzimlənir. Orqan Donorluğu və Transplantasiyası üzrə Koordinasiya Mərkəzinin həkim-koordinatoru Mehriban Əliyeva dünya ölkələrinin bu istiqamətdə təcrübəsini slaydlar formasında tələbələrin diqqətinə çatdırıb. 22 years have passed since the death of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, a world-famous political figure, and the National Leader of our people. On December 12, the staff of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and Turkey-Azerbaijan University (TAU) visited the grave of the Great Leader in the Alley of Honor. The memory of the outstanding ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated with respect.

An event dedicated to the memory of the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, world-famous political figure, and National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The event organized at the AzTU Heydar Aliyev Center commemorated the memory of the Great Leader with a minute of silence. The National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played. Speaking at the event, AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev, Member of the Milli Majlis, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vasif Gafarov spoke about the services of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to the Azerbaijani people, his great mission of salvation, and the important reforms he implemented in all areas of the country. It was noted that in the early 90s of the last century, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who returned to power at the insistent demand of the people, saved the country from the threat of destruction. Today's independent Azerbaijan is the work of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. It was also emphasized that Heydar Aliyev's far-sighted policy ensured the perpetuity of independence in Azerbaijan, strengthened statehood, and protected national and cultural heritage. Today, his political line is successfully continued by the President of Azerbaijan, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev.

A meeting of students and staff with Vafa Musayeva, an Azerbaijani female mountaineer and instructor-pedagogue who conquered Mount Everest, was organized at Azerbaijan Technical University (AZTU). Advisor to the Rector of AzTU Sevil Imanova said that the meeting with Vafa Musayeva is an introduction to the results of female determination and professional experience. She noted that in addition to Mount Everest, Vafa Musayeva has climbed the famous Lhotse, Yurhim peaks, Elbrus, Savalan mountains and other heights. Then, the mountaineer Vafa Musayeva made a speech. She spoke about the role of mountaineering in human life, the high spirits it creates and strong self-confidence. Vafa Musayeva also shared her experiences and talked about overcoming obstacles on the way to her goals. The event continued with the mountaineer answering questions. Finally, AzTU Vice-Rector Rashad Aliyev thanked Vafa Musayeva and expressed his belief that this event will be a motivation for the personal development of students. It should be noted that Vafa Musayeva is the first Azerbaijani woman to conquer Everest, and the third Azerbaijani climber to climb this peak overall.
