Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) has strengthened its position in the international ranking “QS Sustainability 2026” with its achievements in the areas of environmental impact, social impact and management model. According to the ranking, AzTU is ranked 1501+ in the world, 582nd in Asia and 5th in Azerbaijan.

Environmental Impact

AzTU is ranked 1247th in the world according to the “Environmental Impact” indicator. This indicates that the university’s environmental policy, projects and research are recognized internationally. The university consistently works towards reducing environmental impact, promoting sustainable energy and resource use, waste management and strengthening environmental education.

Social Impact

The university was rated 1251+ according to the “Social Impact” indicator. This indicator confirms that the university’s activities in the field of social responsibility, inclusion, public participation and strengthening its relations with society are recognized internationally. AzTU attaches special importance to promoting social justice and equal opportunities among students, academic staff and local communities.

Governance model
