Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) Alman mühəndislik fakültəsinin proseslərin avtomatlaşdırılması mühəndisliyi ixtisasının tələbəsi Anabacı Əmiraslanova 20-22 sentyabr tarixlərində Gənclər və İdman Nazirliyi, Dünya Robot Olimpiadası Assosiasiyası və Azərbaycan Robotexnika Mühəndisliyi Akademiyasının (AREA) birgə təşkilatçılığı ilə Milli Gimnastika arenasında VII Dünya Robot Olimpiadasının Azərbaycan mərhələsində iştirak edib. Olimpiadanın keçirilməsində əsas məqsəd gənclərin robot texnologiyaları sahəsində bacarıqlarını inkişaf etdirmək, komanda işini təşviq etmək və innovativ düşüncəni dəstəkləməkdir. Belə olimpiadalar gənclərin motivasiyasını artırmaqla yanaşı, texnoloji biliklərini daha da inkişaf etdirmələri üçün böyük imkanlar yaradır. Ümumilikdə Olimpiadada kateqoriyalar üzrə respublikanın 20 rayon və şəhərindən 316 komanda qeydiyyatdan keçib. Qeydiyyatdan keçən komandaların hazırlıq səviyyəsi ilə bağlı monitorinqlər keçirilib və final mərhələsində 163 komanda iştirak etmək hüququ qazanıb. Anabacı Əmiraslanova Olimpiadada “Future İnnovators-Senior” kateqoriyasında Qlobal iqlim dəyişikliyi ilə mübarizə aparan “CO2toD” qurğusu ilə 2-ci yerə layiq görülüb. Olimpiada qalibləri ölkəmizi Türkiyədə təmsil edəcəklər.

Representatives of QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) international rating agency delivered training at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). In the training, organized by the Research and Development Department of AzTU, detailed information was presented about the activities of the QS agency, the rating methodology and the activities of AzTU in QS ratings. Subhan Namazov, vice-rector for science and innovation, emphasized that AzTU has determined advancement in international rankings as the main goal and the importance of the measures implemented in order to increase global competitiveness. It was also noted that this meeting served to improve AzTU's position in the QS rating. In addition to getting acquainted with the QS rating methodology, the training participants exchanged ideas on relevant strategies for increasing the recognition and success of the university in the international arena.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) təşəbbüsü ilə “ADEX-2024” 5-ci Yubiley Azərbaycan Beynəlxalq Müdafiə Sərgisi çərçivəsində "Müdafiə sahəsində avtomatlaşdırma və robotlaşdırma: perspektivlər və çağırışlar" mövzusunda panel müzakirəsi keçirilib.  AzTU-nun rektoru Vilayət Vəliyevin moderatorluğu ilə keçirilən panel müzakirədə Azərbaycan Milli Aviasiya Akademiyasının yeni texnologiyalar üzrə prorektoru Xəqani Abdullayev, Türk Aerokosmik Sənayesinin beynəlxalq proqramlar üzrə məhsul meneceri Yasin Kaygusuz, AzTU-nun Sənaye Sistemləri və Kibertəhlükəsizlik İnstitutunun direktoru Manafəddin Namazov, Milli Müdafiə Universiteti nəzdində Hərbi İdarəetmə İnstitutunun rektor müavini Əsəd Rüstəmov və Müdafiə Sənayesi Nazirliyi nəzdində Milli Aerokosmik Agentliyinin Məsafədən zondlamanın optik-elektron cihazları şöbəsinin rəisi Günel Əliyeva mövzu haqqında təqdimatla çıxış ediblər. Məruzəçilər  müdafiə sənayesi və avtomatika sahəsində görülmüş və görüləcək işlər, ən son trendlər, universitet-sənaye işbirliyi istiqamətində təcrübələrini bölüşüblər.  Rektor Vilayət Vəliyev AzTU-da müdafiə sənayesi istiqamətində görülən işlər barədə məlumat verib. Bildirib ki, AzTU regionda müdafiə sənayesi üzrə kadr hazırlayan yeganə universitetdir. Rektor universitet-sənaye işbirliyinin inkişafından və çağdaş trendlərdən də danışıb. Panelin sual-cavab sessiyasında rektor Vilayət Vəliyev süni intellekt və kibertəhlükəsizlik sahəsində etik çağırışlar barədə məruzəçilərlə dialoq formatında müzakirələr aparıb. Sonda panelin moderatoru və məruzəçilərinə sertifikat təqdim olunub. Qeyd edək ki, “ADEX-2024” 5-ci Yubiley Azərbaycan Beynəlxalq Müdafiə Sərgisi sentyabrın 26-na kimi davam edəcək.

Azərbaycan Respublikasının Baş naziri Əli Əsədov sentyabrın 23-də ölkəmizdə səfərdə olan Türkiyə Respublikasının Ali Təhsil Şurasının sədri Erol Özvarla görüşüb.  Görüşdə elm və təhsil naziri Emin Əmrullayev, həmçinin Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin rektoru Vilayət Vəliyev və Türkiyənin aparıcı ali təhsil müəssisələrinin rektorları da iştirak ediblər. Görüşdə iki ölkə arasında strateji tərəfdaşlıq və müttəfiqlik münasibətlərinin bütün sahələrdə uğurlu inkişafından məmnunluq ifadə olunub, təhsil sahəsində əlaqələrin dinamikası xüsusi vurğulanaraq, iki ölkənin ali təhsil müəssisələri və elmi-tədqiqat mərkəzləri arasında uzunmüddətli səmərəli əməkdaşlığın nəticələri təqdir edilib.   Həmçinin Türkiyə-Azərbaycan Universitetinin (TAU) yaradılmasının əhəmiyyəti qeyd edilib, layihədə iştirak edən universitetlərin iki ölkənin aparıcı ali təhsil müəssisələri olduğu xüsusi vurğulanıb. Bildirilib ki, qəbul nəticələrinə əsasən, 2024-2025-ci tədris ilindən fəaliyyətə başlayan TAU-da kompüter mühəndisliyi, sənaye mühəndisliyi və qida mühəndisliyi ixtisasları üzrə ümumilikdə 90-a yaxın tələbə təhsil alacaq.  Görüş çərçivəsində Türkiyə-Azərbaycan Universitetinin fəaliyyəti ilə bağlı cari məsələlər, həmçinin iki ölkə arasında elm və təhsil sahəsində əməkdaşlığın inkişaf perspektivləri də müzakirə olunub.

The next master-class "Growing Contribution of Azerbaijan to Earth's Green Future" by Igor Nasirov, an employee of the Institute of Sustainable Development of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), was organized online. "Green projects and products: markets and trade" ( The fifth part, called Green Projects and Products: Markets and Trade) is devoted to the process of environmental protection of entrepreneurial projects for the production of products for environmental purposes, their marketing and sale. The main objective was to bring to the attention of scientific researchers, faculty and students to explore various aspects of COP29 and its relevance to the global climate agenda. At the meeting, extensive discussions were held about global trends and practices, projects to be implemented in Azerbaijan at COP29, and Azerbaijan's contribution to the green world. Guests of the event Valentin Korlomin (Consulting Director, Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Argus Media) and Alexander Yanovskiy (Trader) delivered their reports.

Rector of Ankara University, Professor Nejdet Unuvar, met AzTU students admitted to Ankara University and Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) dual degree program in Computer Engineering in 2022. He said that according to the protocol signed with AzTU in 2021, students will continue their studies at Ankara University from the 2024-2025 academic year. The rector noted that students who finish the educational program will have a double diploma, which will make important contributions to their future activities. Associate Professor Najiba Nasibova, adviser on educational issues of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey, who participated in the meeting, wished success in their studies to AzTU students who will study at Ankara University. After the speeches, Rector Nejdet Unuvar and Education Advisor Najiba Nasibova cut a cake together with the students.

Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) successfully continues cooperating with Turkey's Sakarya University of Applied Sciences within the framework of the "Erasmus+" exchange program. Within the framework of cooperation, Meltem Eyüboğlu Ozjan, a teacher of the Department of Electronics and Automation Engineering of the Vocational School of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, visited AzTU. The guest who met  the academic staff of the Mechatronics department of AzTU got acquainted with the teaching infrastructure, technical base and laboratories of the department and discussed the implementation of joint projects. Meltem Eyüboğlu Özcan gave a lecture on "Robotics Concepts" and "Automation of Robotic Processes" to the students of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering of AzTU.

The "summer school" called "Development of Engineering Skills in Multicultural Conditions" organized by Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and within the "Go East" program of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) has ended. In addition to the training program, the participants were presented with a program rich in the promotion of our history and national traditions within the framework of the "Summer School".  Within the program of the "Summer School", participants were trained on "Multicultural Values ​​in Enterprises", "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Challenges for Engineers", "Decision-Making Skills for Engineers", "Sales Skills for Engineers", "Work in Crisis Situations". Later, the participants of the "summer school" performed various tasks assigned to them as a team and visited "Baku Shipyard", 230 MW "Garadagh" Solar Power Station and Sumgayit Technologies Park.                 Within the framework of the program, they worked on projects as a team at AzTU's MGP Workshop - 3D Printer Center. In addition, various social events were organized for the participants of the "summer school", and certificates were presented to the participants.  "Summer school" successfully completed its work under the leadership of DAAD lecturer Claudio Kasperl. It should be noted that in the "summer school" 8 students from different German universities worked as a team with 10 students of AzTU.

Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Vilayat Valiyev met the regional director of "Quacquarelli Symonds" (QS) Sergey Khristolyubov. The Rector emphasized the importance of the contract to be signed for increasing AzTU's international competitiveness in world rankings. He noted that the main priorities of the university are the improvement of academic indicators, the increase of publications in scientific databases, and the training of personnel in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. Rector also spoke about the importance of cooperation with QS. Sergey Khristolyubov, regional director of QS, said that special attention is paid to increasing AzTU's global competitiveness and advancement in international rankings. Later, a cooperation agreement was signed between AzTU and QS. Within the framework of the agreement, it was agreed to increase AzTU's global competitiveness, expand its recognition in the international arena, and strengthen its reputation.

On the initiative of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), a panel discussion on "Automation and robotics in the field of defense: prospects and challenges" will be held on September 24 within the framework of the "ADEX 2024" exhibition. AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev will moderate the panel discussion. Khagani Abdullayev, vice-rector for new technologies of the Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy, Yasin Kaygusuz, product manager for international programs of the Turkish Aerospace Industry, Manafeddin Namazov, director of the Institute of Industrial Systems and Cyber ​​Security of AzTU, Asad, vice-rector of the Institute of Military Management under the National Defense University, will participate in the one-hour panel discussion. Rustamov and Gunel Aliyeva, Head of the Department of Remote Sensing Optical Electronic Devices of the National Aerospace Agency under the Ministry of Defense Industry will make a presentation. The panel will discuss issues such as defense industry and automation, latest trends, university-industry cooperation, ethics and security. It should be noted that the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition will be held in Baku on September 24-26.
