“Xocalıya Ədalət!” kampaniyası çərçivəsində Azərbaycan Gənclər Fondu və Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) dəstəyi, “Gənclərin Maarifləndirilməsinə Dəstək” İctimai Birliyinin təşkilatçılığı ilə “Reza Deqatinin gözündə Xocalı soyqırımı” adlı görüş keçirilib. AzTU-da təşkil olunan görüşdə əvvəlcə Azərbaycanın Dövlət Himni səsləndirilib, ölkəmizin müstəqilliyi və ərazi bütövlüyü uğrunda şəhidlik zirvəsinə yüksələn Vətən övladlarının əziz xatirəsi bir dəqiqəlik sükutla yad edilib. Görüşdə Xocalı faciəsini çəkdiyi fotolarla dünyaya çatdıran fotojurnalist Reza Deqati də iştirak edib. Tədbirdə çıxış edən AzTU-nun sosial məsələlər və ictimaiyyətlə əlaqələr üzrə prorektoru Nərmin Rzayeva Xocalı faciəsinin hər il yad edilməsinin önəmini diqqətə çatdırıb. Gənclər Fondunun icraçı direktoru vəzifəsini icra edən Qədir Xəlilov soyqırımı barədə həqiqətlərin beynəlxalq ictimaiyyətə çatdırılmasında Azərbaycan dövlətinin zəruri addımlar atdığını qeyd edib.  Reza Deqati Xocalı faciəsi, Vətən müharibəsi və Qarabağda yenidənqurma işləri zamanı çəkdiyi fotoları təqdim edib və şahidi olduğu hadisələrdən danışıb. O, həmin ağrılı və acılı günlərin indi də gözünün önündə olduğunu deyib. Fotoqraf Xocalıda çəkdiyi fotolarla bağlı həqiqətləri hər zaman dünyaya çatdırmağa çalışdığını bildirib. Qeyd edək ki, Reza Deqati Azərbaycan həqiqətlərini dünyaya çatdırmaq üçün bir çox Avropa ölkələrində sərgilər təşkil edib.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) Metallurgiya və materialşünaslıq fakültəsinin II kurs tələbəsi Səbuhi Əhmədli ürək tutmasından vəfat edib. AzTU-nun rəhbərliyi və kollektivi Sahil Əhmədlinin vaxtsız vəfatından kədərlənir, ailəsinə və yaxınlarına başsağlığı verir.   Allah rəhmət eləsin!

Dünyaşöhrətli fotojurnalist, həmyerlimiz Reza Deqati Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) qonağı olub. Qonağı AzTU-da salamlamaqdan məmnunluğunu bildirən rektor Vilayət Vəliyev Reza Deqatinin 90-cı illərdə xalqımıza qarşı törədilən faciələr zamanı lentə aldığı fotolar vasitəsilə Azərbaycan həqiqətlərinin dünyaya çatdırılmasında mühüm rolunu qeyd edib.   44 günlük Vətən müharibəsi zamanı ermənilərin Azərbaycanın dinc əhalisinə qarşı törətdiyi cinayətlərin geniş auditoriyaya Reza Deqatinin obyektivi vasitəsilə çatdırılması da xüsusi vurğulanıb.   Dünyaşöhrətli fotojurnalist Reza Deqati bildirib ki, fotojurnalistika təcrübəsində onu 1992-ci ildə Xocalıda gördüyü dəhşətli mənzərə qədər təsirləndirən məqamlar olmayıb. Fotojurnalist deyib ki, Ali Baş Komandan, Prezident İlham Əliyevin siyasi iradəsi, ordumuzun gücü nəticəsində haqq-ədalət öz yerini tapıb, işğala son qoyulub, Xocalı azad olunub.   o, Xocalı faciəsi, Vətən müharibəsi və Qarabağda yenidənqurma işləri zamanı çəkdiyi fotoları hər zaman beynəlxalq ictimaiyyətin diqqətinə çatdırmağa çalışacağını bildirib.   Qeyd edək ki, görüşdə Gənclər Fondunun icraçı direktoru vəzifəsini icra edən Qədir Xəlilov da iştirak edib.    

Ali təhsil müəssisələrinin ictimaiyyətlə əlaqələr üzrə nümayəndələri ilə görüş keçirilib.   Görüşdə Elm və Təhsil Nazirliyinin, Elm və Ali Təhsil üzrə Dövlət Agentliyinin və ali təhsil müəssisələrinin nümayəndələri iştirak ediblər.   Söhbət zamanı ictimaiyyət və media ilə işin təkmilləşdirilməsi, media sahəsində peşəkar vərdişlərin inkişafına dəstək olmaq, ali təhsil müəssisələri arasında kommunikasiyanın gücləndirilməsi və bu istiqamətdə birgə əməkdaşlıq imkanları müzakirə olunub.   Görüşdə Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetini (AzTU) İctimaiyyətlə əlaqələr şöbəsinin müdiri - mətbuat katibi Sevinc İsgəndərova təmsil edib. 

A meeting was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with representatives from 20 companies affiliated with “Bilisim Vadisi Baku”.   The Director of “Bilisim Vadisi Baku”, Gamet Karimov, welcomed the attendees, emphasizing that the primary goal of the meeting was to discuss potential collaboration opportunities between the government, universities, and industry, as well as to explore the implementation of innovative projects.   AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev highlighted the growing global importance of technoparks and underscored that the main objective of the collaboration with “Bilisim Vadisi” is to provide technological support from member companies to AzTU and other universities.   Elnur Nasibov, Chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund, briefed the participants on the establishment, core activities, and ongoing projects of the Fund. He emphasized the Fund’s openness to partnerships with both public and private companies, highlighting that social and business-oriented projects are being implemented in collaboration with various stakeholders. He also noted that the Sustainable Development Center at AzTU, where the meeting was held, was established as part of the Fund's cooperation initiatives.   The meeting continued with presentations and discussions led by representatives of companies affiliated with “Bilisim Vadisi Baku”.

As part of the Mentorship Program, the next meeting between the winners of the “Yükseliş” (Ascension) competition and students was held. The winner of the second “Yükseliş” competition, Khanbaba Sultanli, met with Sanan Veyselov, a fourth-year student from the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), who was accepted into the program.  During the meeting, Khanbaba Sultanli discussed the initial steps needed to develop skills, acquire new knowledge, and accurately define career goals. He provided insights on reforms aimed at enhancing competitiveness through the successful implementation of new projects and the use of innovative technologies. Sultanli also listened to the student’s perspectives on these topics and shared the planned steps for the future progression of the Mentorship Program. In response, AzTU student Sanan Veyselov expressed his interest in participating in projects that would contribute to his professional development and thanked the organizers for the opportunity and the productive meeting.  The primary goal of the Mentorship Program is to enable third- and fourth-year students to benefit from the management experience of “Yükseliş” competition winners and receive guidance for their future careers. At the conclusion of the program, the competition winners will provide recommendation letters to the participating students. The program, initiated under the auspices of the “Yükseliş” competition, has admitted 65 students, selected based on their resumes and motivation letters. The program is expected to continue until the end of June 2024. It is noteworthy that the selection process for the Mentorship Program, including the submission of students’ resumes and motivation letters, is facilitated by AzTU’s Career and Employment Center.  The “Yükseliş” competition was established by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on July 26, 2019, with the aim of identifying, supporting, and fostering promising leaders with high intellectual and managerial capabilities, as well as creating a talent pool for the country.

Türkiyənin İstanbul Texniki Universitetinin (İTÜ) nümayəndələri Nafiz Ünlü və Ayhan Güzelyurt Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetini (AzTU) ziyarət edib. Qonaqları salamlayan rektor Vilayət Vəliyev AzTU və İTÜ arasında uzunmüddətli əməkdaşlığı qeyd edərək birgə tədris və tədqiqat layihələrinin, xüsusilə sənayeyönümlü təlim proqramlarının genişləndirilməsinin vacibliyini vurğulayıb. İTÜ-də həyata keçirilən təlim proqramları barədə ətraflı məlumat verən qonaqlar bu proqramların univesitet-sənaye əməkdaşlığının gücləndirilməsinə xidmət etdiyini bildiriblər. Görüşdə universitetlərdə sənayeyönümlü birgə təlim proqramlarının, habelə müxtəlif sənaye sahələri üçün konsaltinq xidmətlərinin təşkili məsələləri müzakirə olunub.

As part of the European Union's “Erasmus+ KA2” program, Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) participated in the UniClaD project, titled “Enhancing the Capacity of Universities to Foster Innovation and Sustainability through Cluster Development and Participation.” The latest meeting of the project’s management team was held at the Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) in Poland.  AzTU was represented by the project coordinator, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations, Subhan Namazov, and the Head of the Research and Development Department, Bakhtiyar Badalov.  During the meeting, reports on the progress of the project were presented by responsible representatives, followed by discussions on challenges encountered and upcoming tasks. Decisions were made regarding training courses to be held at partner universities across Europe. Notably, it was agreed that AzTU’s master's and doctoral students will participate in a one-month training program in Vienna, Austria.  Additionally, the management team agreed to organize one of the upcoming meetings in Azerbaijan during September-October 2024. It was also decided that the project’s closing conference will be held in Azerbaijan in November 2024.

The Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Vilayat Valiyev, met with Aykhan Allahverdiyev, a graduate of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials Science, participant in the Patriotic War, and recipient of the Presidential Award for Youth.  During the meeting, discussions focused on the youth policies implemented in the country, particularly the attention and support provided by President Ilham Aliyev to young people. The Rector emphasized that, like AzTU students, graduates also hold a special place for the university. He noted that the achievements of alumni serve as both an example and a source of motivation and self-confidence for current students.  Rector Vilayat Valiyev expressed pride in seeing Aykhan Allahverdiyev’s name among the recipients of the Presidential Award for Youth, congratulating him on this significant accomplishment and wishing him success in his future endeavors.  It should be noted that, by decrees issued by President Ilham Aliyev, Aykhan Allahverdiyev was awarded the medals “For the Liberation of Fuzuli,” “For the Liberation of Jabrayil,” “For the Liberation of Khojavend,” and “Participant of the Patriotic War” for his bravery and heroism during the Patriotic War.  Currently, Aykhan Allahverdiyev serves as the Chairman of the “Young Volunteers Public Union”.

On February 2, a special event dedicated to Azerbaijan Youth Day was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), organized by the University’s Trade Union Committee (TUC) and the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC).  The event began with a moment of silence in honor of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. The National Anthem of Azerbaijan was then played.  Chairman of the AzTU TUC, Elvin Bakhtiyarli, extended his congratulations on the occasion of Youth Day. He highlighted the youth policies implemented in Azerbaijan and the attention and support given to young people. Bakhtiyarli emphasized that various events and interactive competitions are held throughout the year at AzTU to enhance the knowledge, skills, and innovative ideas of students and young faculty members.  AzTU Vice-Rector Rashad Aliyev and Advisor to the Rector on Strategic Issues, Shabnam Mammadova, also delivered congratulatory speeches, wishing the youth success in their endeavors and encouraging them to continuously work on self-development.  During the event, Elvin Bakhtiyarli announced the results of the "AzTU Youth-2" competition, organized by the TUC in honor of Youth Day. The competition recognized young staff members who defended their dissertations, published scientific articles, demonstrated social activity, maintained discipline, and contributed to the university's activities throughout the year.  Based on the results of the competition:  Shabnam Hatamova was awarded 3rd place in the “Promising Young Talent of the Year” category, Gunel Mammadli secured 2nd place in the “Professional Young Talent of the Year” category, Nuran Suleymanova won 1st place and was named “Young Teacher of the Year” at AzTU.   Following the speeches, the winners of the competition, as well as other young employees who distinguished themselves through discipline and contributions to the university, were presented with certificates of honor and gifts.  In addition, students who played an active role in the social and public life of the university were also awarded honorary certificates by the AzTU STUC.
