Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) has prepared an urban mobility plan for 16 cities, including Shirvan, Mingachevir, Lankaran, Yevlax, Sheki, Naftalan, Shamkir, Quba, Tovuz, Qusar, Bilasuvar, Masalli, Khachmaz, Goygol, Goychay, and Agjabedi, and organized a final discussion on the plan. A roundtable discussion was held with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Baku Metro CJSC, Surakhani District Executive Authority, Yasamal District Executive Authority, Azerbaijan State Automobile Roads Agency, Azerbaijan Surface Transport Agency, and relevant companies. AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev highlighted the economic, social, and environmental contributions of preparing the mobility plan and emphasized the key results derived from the project. He noted that the main outcomes include the creation of a discussion platform involving government, industry, universities, and the public. Additionally, a team of experts made up of students and faculty members who worked on the mobility program, as well as the development of infrastructure, were formed as part of the project. He also stressed that the plan is an important contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in preparation for COP29 to be held in Baku. Fuad Dashdemirov, the director of AzTU’s Institute of Logistics and Transport, had a presentation covering all stages of the development of the urban mobility plan. He emphasized that the plan's preparation, supported by the state and based on the country's science and education potential, is a significant step forward. He explained that the research conducted for the project involved a robust methodology and the development of a computational package and technologies. As a result, AzTU's faculty and students were actively involved in the preparation of the plan, with many dissertation topics dedicated to solving the problems arising from the project. Consequently, fundamental scientific foundations have been established for further work in this area both in Azerbaijan and internationally. The roundtable participants discussed the results of the project in detail and emphasized that the urban mobility program had been prepared with high professionalism, emphasized the importance of publishing the results.

“TEXIO Academy” Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetində (AzTU) informasiya təhlükəsizliyi ixtisasında təhsil alan tələbələr üçün  “Kibertəhlükəsizlikdə yeni trendlər” mövzusunda seminar keçirib. Gələcək kibermüdafiəçilərin təcrübələrinin artırılması məqsədilə təşkil olunan seminarda kibertəhlükəsizlik sahəsində ən son irəliləyişlər və problemlər araşdırılıb, bu sahədə ixtisaslaşan tələbələr üçün zəruri informasiyalar verilib. Kibertəhlükəsizlik kafedrsının müdiri t.e.d, dosent Yadigar İmamverdiyev açılış nitqi ilə çıxış edərək müasir dövrdə kiber rəqiblərlə effektiv mübarizə aparmaq üçün ən son tendensiya və texnologiyalardan xəbərdar olmağın vacibliyini vurğulayıb. Maarifləndirici seminarın spikeri, kibertəhlükəsizlik sahəsində geniş təcrübəyə malik olan “TEXIO Academy”nin təsisçisi və təlimçisi Elgün Bəxtiyaroğlu praktiki biliklərini və sahənin yeni trendlərini iştirakçılarla bölüşüb. Bildirib ki, son tendensiyaları mənimsəmək kibermüdafiəçilərə təhdidləri qabaqcadan görmək, müdafiəni gücləndirmək və rəqəmsal ekosistemləri artan risklərdən qorumaq üçün mühüm əhəmiyyət kəsb edir. Seminar iştirakçıların suallarının cavablandırılması ilə yekunlaşıb.

A staff member of the International Relations Department at Bursa Technical University in Turkey, Semih Ozturk visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) under the “ Erasmus+” exchange program. Semih Ozturk conducted a one-week training at AzTU's International Relations Department and got acquainted with the ongoing activities there during his visit. Discussions were also held regarding the expansion of the existing cooperation between the two universities and potential opportunities for further collaboration.

A psychological awareness forum titled "Healthy Mind, Healthy Society" was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), and organized by the "Ahenk" Psychology Rehabilitation Development Center. The aim of the forum was to support the psychological education of young people, transfer the experience of the older generation to them, and facilitate mutual discussions between the two generations. Members of Parliament Ceyhun Mammadov and Vugar Iskandarov, mothers of martyrs, war veterans, heads of educational centers, psychologists, education experts, teachers, parents, and students attended in the event. The foundations of psychological well-being, as well as the significance of national spirit, healthy nutrition, and healthy thinking were discussed, during the forum. The event continued with a cultural part.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetində (AzTU) gənclərin karyera planlamasına dəstək göstərilməsi və onların şəbəkələşməsini təmin etmək məqsədilə “İT sahəsində karyera planlaması və müasir dünyada süni intellektin rolu” mövzusunda panel müzakirə keçirilib.  Tədbirin açılışında Gənclərin İnkişaf və Karyera Mərkəzinin nümayəndəsi Mətanət Xəlilova, Azərbaycan Tələbə Gənclər Təşkilatları İttifaqının nümayəndəsi Bəxtiyar Quluzadə, AzTU-nun Karyera və Məşğulluq Mərkəzinin müdiri Ülviyyə Rəsulova və universitetin TGT sədri Ruslan Qənbərov çıxış edərək gənclər üçün karyera quruculuğu istiqamətində keçirilən layihənin faydasından söz açıblar.  Daha sonra “İT sahəsində karyera planlaması və müasir dünyada süni intellektin rolu” mövzusunda panel müzakirələr keçirilib.  150-dən çox gənci əhatə edən panel müzakirədə “Müasir dünyada İT, bazardakı iş imkanları və reallıqlar; Beynəlxalq şirkətlərdə İT”, “Universitet illərindən sonra İT mütəxəssisin ilk 5 ildəki hədəfləri”, “İnformasiya təhlükəsizliyi və kibertəhlükəsizlik”, “Gənclərin universitet illəri üçün İT karyerası”, “Müasir dünyada süni intellekt rolu, istiqamət-karyera seçimləri” mövzuları ətrafında bir sıra önəmli fikirlər səsləndirilib. Daha sonra gənclərin sualları cavablandırılıb.

Azərbaycan Respublikası Xüsusi Rabitə və İnformasiya Təhlükəsizliyi Dövlət Xidməti ilə Azərbaycan Texniki Universiteti (AzTU) arasında imzalanmış 'məkdaşlıq haqqında memorandumda nəzərdə tutulmuş tədbirlər çərçivəsində universitetin tələbələri üçün növbəti ustad dərsi keçirilib. Xüsusi Rabitə və İnformasiya Təhlükəsizliyi Dövlət Xidmətinin əməkdaşları Murad Balayev və Əli Babayev tələbələrə “İnformasiya ekosistemində kibertəhlükəsizlik əməliyyatları və alətləri” mövzusunda nəzəri və "Kiberinsidentlərin monitorinqi, təhlili və cavablandırılması" mövzusunda praktiki təlim keçiblər. Məruzəçilər təhlükəsizlik əməliyyatları mərkəzləri, onların strukturu, modeli və fəaliyyəti istiqamətində, həmçinin kibermüdafiə məqsədilə istifadə olunan məhsullar barədə məlumat verib, daha sonra bir neçə hücum vektorlarını ehtiva edən real nümunələr üzərindən baş vermiş insidentlərin düzgün təhlili və cavablandırılması qaydalarını əks etdirən praktiki laboratoriya işləri nümayiş etdiriblər. Sonda tələbələrin sualları cavablandırılıb və onlara tövsiyələr verilib.

On May 14, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the "Innovative methods in the development of education II" competition dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was held with the organization of the Education Development Fund, the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and the partnership of "Lenovo Global Technology Azerbaijan" LLC.

The next information session about scholarship programs of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) was held for students of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). At the event, the dean of the German engineering faculty Arastun Mammadov spoke about the long-term cooperation of DAAD and the opportunities created by scholarship programs for engineering majors. Later, Claudio Kasperl, DAAD's German language teacher working at AzTU, gave detailed information to the students about studying in Germany, DAAD's activities and scholarship programs, application conditions, set of required documents and selection criteria.

There was a presentation of the film "A Brave Life" dedicated to Rashad Zeynalli, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), who rose to the peak of martyrdom in the Patriotic War. Family members of martyr Rashad Zeynalli, relatives, families of martyrs, veterans, representatives of the university took part in the event.
