A meeting was held with the participation of students and young people in joint cooperation between Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and the Public Council under the Ministry of Science and Education.

Within the framework of the meeting, first, an exchange of views was held between the vice-rectors of the university and the members of the Public Council on higher education management, social welfare of students and quality of education. The participants took part in an info tour covering a number of faculties and administrative areas of the university.

After the National Anthem of Azerbaijan and a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, a panel meeting with the participation of more than 300 students began. At the opening of the event, AzTU Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations Narmin Rzayeva and Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Science and Education Hikmet Alizadeh spoke and provided information on the importance of public control in higher education, the role of open dialogue with students and the activities carried out in this direction.

Then, interactive panel discussions were organized with students. They shared their views on the educational process and voiced current difficulties. During the discussions, ideas were exchanged on topics such as expanding internship opportunities, increasing student participation in decision-making, and promoting activism in university life.

At the end of the event, thanks were expressed to the AzTU Student Youth Organization for organizing the meeting. Such initiatives are of great importance in terms of listening to students' opinions and promoting participation in the higher education system.
