As part of the "Strengthening the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Azerbaijani Higher Education Institutions" (ENGAGE) project, funded by the European Commission and coordinated by Mingachevir State University, a business trip was organized to Poland. The visit took place from June 24 to 28 and was hosted by the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz.
The main objective of the five-day training program was to study foreign experiences related to entrepreneurship initiatives and practices in higher education, in line with the project's goals. During the training, participants gained knowledge and experience on modern methods and mechanisms widely used in entrepreneurship development, including design thinking, building a Canvas business model, creating a social employment environment through entrepreneurial initiatives, personal branding, visual marketing, discovering individual potential, and the application of innovative teaching methods in entrepreneurship education.
Additionally, as part of the training program, participants had the opportunity to visit the entrepreneurship entities in Bydgoszcz, as well as the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technology Park. As a result of the training, university representatives worked on group projects related to their own business ideas and presented their work, engaging in extensive experience exchange.
Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) was represented at the training by Professor Fuad Ganbarov from the Department of International Trade, Logistics, and Marketing.
At the conclusion of the program, participants were awarded certificates by the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz.
