An information session dedicated to the opportunities for online learning of the German language was organized for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The session was conducted by Claudio Kasperl, a German language teacher at AzTU.
During the information session, Claudio Kasperl presented the modern and interactive German language course called “Nicos Weg” to the students. This course, which covers the German language from level A1 to level B1, was developed by the German international broadcasting organization DW (Deutsche Welle) and is offered completely free of charge over the Internet. The fact that the course is available in Turkish, Russian and several other languages makes it more accessible and understandable for students.
At the session, Ilaha Agazade, an employee of the university who is currently an intensive user of the “Nicos Weg” course, shared her experience. She informed the students about the benefits of the course in the daily learning process and how to take advantage of its opportunities.
During the session, Claudio Kasperl provided students with detailed information about the course structure, usage, and individual learning opportunities, noting that this interactive tool is a useful resource for students interested in learning German outside of class.
At the end, students' questions were answered.
