Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetində (AzTU) “Məzun Günü” keçirilib. Əvvəlcə torpaqlarımızın ərazi bütövlüyü və suverenliyi uğrunda canlarından keçən Vətən övladlarının əziz xatirəsi bir dəqiqəlik sükutla yad olunub. Azərbaycanın Dövlət Himni səsləndirilib. AzTU-nun rektoru Vilayət Vəliyev məzunları təbrik edib. Bildirib ki, bu il 2936 tələbə məzun adını qazanıb. Onların 1641-i bakalavr, 27-si əcnəbi tələbə, 1295-i magistr məzunlardır. Rektor son illər AzTU-da tədris və tədqiqat sahəsində həyata keçirilən yeniliklərdən də danışıb. Qeyd edib ki, bu il AzTU-da KOB subyektlərinin inkişafına dəstək məqsədilə KOB Model Müəssisəsi yaradılıb. Universitet-sahibarkalıq modelinə inteqrasiyanı təmin etmək məqsədilə universitetdə qurulan Mühəndis Gəliştirmə Proqramının emalatxanasında çalışan AzTU və Milli Aviasiya Akademiyasının tələbələri bir ilkə imza atdı. Belə ki, AzTU, TUSAŞ və MAA-nın birgə əməkdaşlığı çərçivəsində həyata keçirilən "AzTU-Turkish Aerospace, MGP 2023.1" yüksək ixtisaslı mühəndis hazırlığı təlim proqramı çərçivəsində müdafiə təyinatlı pilotsuz uçuş aparatının ilk uçuşu həyata keçirildi. Sağlam həyat tərzinin təbliği, tələbələrin zərərli vərdişlərdən uzaq olması, asudə vaxtlarının səmərəli təşkili istiqamətində təşkil olunan idman yarışları bu il də davam etdi. AzTU basketbol komandası Tələbə Basketbol Liqasında 1-ci yerə çıxaraq qızıl medala layiq görüldü. Məzunlara gələcək həyatlarında uğurlar diləyən rektor onlara Vətənə layiqli vətəndaş olmağı arzulayıb. Yasamal Rayon İcra Hakimiyyəti başçısının müavini Təravət Muradova, elm və təhsil nazirinin müşaviri Nicat Məmmədli, AzTU-nun fəxri məzunu, İnformasiya Texnologiyaları İnstitutunun baş direktoru akademik Rasim Əliquliyev, millət vəkili Müşfiq Məmmədli, valideyn Günay Bağcı məzunları təbrik edərək onlara ən xoş arzularını bildiriblər. Sabah qruplarını ən yüksək ÜÖMG (Ümumi Orta Müvəffəqiyyət Göstəricisi) ilə bitirən məzun Ehtiram Şükürov da öz təəssüratlarını bölüşüb, tədris aldığı müddətdə qazandığı uğurlarından danışıb. Daha sonra AzTU-nu ən yüksək ÜOMG ilə bitirən, eləcə də universitetin ictimai-sosial həyatında fəallıq nümayiş etdirən məzunların təltifolunma mərasimi keçirilib. Tədbir konsert proqramı ilə davam edib. 

As part of the "Strategic Quality Management in Healthcare and Risk Management in Open and Distance Education Formats for Professional Bachelor's and Master's Preparation in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan" (LMQS) project, in which Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) is a partner, a series of training sessions have been held. The trainings were hosted by the European partners of the project: the University of West Attica in Greece and the University of Côte d'Azur in France. AzTU was represented by Pervin Soltanli, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics and Statistics, and Nabat Jabbarova, Senior Specialist at the International Relations Department. During the training sessions, which included participation from partner universities in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, in-depth knowledge and practical work were conducted on various topics such as "Organization of Distance Education and Working with Digital Platforms," "Implementing Successful Digital Transformation in Higher Education," and "The Use of Artificial Intelligence and its Ethical Aspects." These sessions aimed to enhance skills and exchange experiences in these crucial areas of higher education and digital transformation.

A meeting was held regarding the activities and financial reporting of the "Strategic Quality Management in Healthcare and Risk Management in Open and Distance Education Formats for Professional Bachelor's and Master's Preparation in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan" (LMQS) project, in which Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) is a partner. The project is implemented under the European Union's "Erasmus+" program, coordinated by the University of West Attica in Greece. The meeting, hosted by the University of West Attica, focused on discussing the project's activities and financial matters. AzTU was represented at the meeting by Professor Hasan Huseynov, Advisor at the Department of Machine Engineering Technology, and Matanat Pashayeva, Head of the International Projects Group at the International Relations Department. During the reporting meeting, representatives from partner universities in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan presented their reports. The final requirements were outlined in connection with the project’s completion at the end of 2024, and relevant recommendations were provided. Questions from the participants were also addressed during the meeting.

An official opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani Language School, organized with the joint support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, the Ministry of Culture, and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Germany, was held at the Azerbaijani Culture House in Berlin. The ceremony was attended by Elshad Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, Farid Jafarov, Deputy Minister of Culture, Nasimi Aghayev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany, Elmar Gasimov, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School, Gulchohra Mammadova, Rector of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Rufat Azizov, Rector of Sumgait State University, Vilayat Valiyev, Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Samir Agabalayev, Head of the Apparatus of the Ministry of Defense Industry, Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Ali Khalilov, Staff member of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elmar Abasov, Advisor to the Chairman of the State Advertising Agency, Shahin Aliyev, Advisor to the Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, as well as other representatives from various organizations, local and foreign guests. Deputy Chairman Elshad Aliyev congratulated the teachers and students on the opening of the Azerbaijani language school and provided detailed information about the activities of the State Committee, its projects, Azerbaijani Houses abroad, and Coordination Councils. He noted that the establishment of Azerbaijani language schools for children living abroad, initiated by First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, plays a vital role in maintaining young generations' connection to their homeland and ensuring they learn their native language. Farid Jafarov, Deputy Minister of Culture, stated that the purpose of Azerbaijan's cultural centers abroad is to promote and implement educational programs related to the Azerbaijani language, history, literature, music, and other cultural fields. He emphasized that the opening of the Azerbaijani language class at the Cultural Center in Berlin would contribute significantly to this mission and wished the weekend school much success in its future work. Ambassador Nasimi Aghayev, in his speech, praised the high activity of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Germany and acknowledged their valuable contributions. He emphasized the importance of continuing and strengthening these activities in a coordinated and collaborative manner, highlighting the significance of the opening of the Azerbaijani language school in Berlin. Speakers at the event expressed gratitude to the organizers, teachers, students, and their parents for their interest in the Azerbaijani language, stressing the growing importance of language schools abroad. They noted the increasing number of Azerbaijani language schools each year. Following the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani Language Weekend School, the official guests also attended the opening of new drum courses at the Azerbaijani Culture Center. At the end of the event, the students of the Azerbaijani language school were presented with gifts from the State Committee for Work with Diaspora and the Ministry of Culture.

Another important event – “Forum of Azerbaijani engineers living in Europe”, organized by the State Committee on work with diaspora, had started its work in Germany. The forum is attended by 125 scientists and engineers, well-known and influential representatives of the Diaspora, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Elshad Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany Nasimi Aghayev, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov, Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction Gulchohra Mammadova, Rector of Sumgait State University Rufat Azizov, Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University Vilayat Valiyev, Head of the Apparatus of the Ministry of Defense Industry Samir Aghabalayev, Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan – AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev, employee of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Khalilov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board the State Advertising Agency Elmar Abasov, advisor to the Chairman of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport Shahin Aliyev, as well as representatives of other institutions, local and foreign guests. The forum began with the National Anthem of Azerbaijan and the dear memories of our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of our country were commemorated with a minute's silence. A video congratulation of the Committee Chairman Fuad Muradov was demonstrated to the participants of the forum. "The Engineers Forum is a constructive platform for discussion and cooperation. Today, the gathering of our engineers, Azerbaijani specialists working in different engineering fields at the forum provides a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, experience and ideas. In turn, our Committee supports our engineers and scientists living abroad and tries to provide them with opportunities for career and development”- said the Chairman. Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany Nasimi Aghayev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Elshad Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov, associate professor of Cologne University and chairman of the Board of the Alliance of Azerbaijanis in Germany Nuran Abdullayev, co-founder of the German-Azerbaijani House of Culture and co-chairman of the Cologne Azerbaijan House Altai Rustamov and others made speeches at the forum. The importance of the forum, the scientific benefits of the discussions, the advantages of effective use of knowledge and skills of Azerbaijani engineers were brought to the attention. Azerbaijani scientists and specialists living in different countries of Europe made presentations on various topics after the demonstration of a video about COP29. The forum moderated by the Medical School Berlin and Berlin School of Business, system Administrator Rauf Abdullayev, continued its work with panel discussions. It should be noted that in recent years the State Committee on work with Diaspora has been organizing specialized forums with the participation of specialists living in foreign countries. To date, several forums of Azerbaijani scientists and doctors living abroad have been organized. These forums were met with great interest among the Azerbaijani diaspora.

Bakı Biznes Universitetinin koordinatoru olduğu “Azərbaycan Rektorlar Konfransının yaradılması” (ECAR) layihəsinin yekun hesabat konfransı keçirilib. Tədbirdə elm və təhsil nazirinin müşaviri Nicat Məmmədli, Elm və Ali Təhsil üzrə Dövlət Agentliyinin direktoru Ülkər Səttarova, Böyük Britaniyanın Middlesex Universitetinin əməkdaşı George Dafoulas,  Avropa İttifaqının Azərbaycandakı nümayəndəliyinin birinci müşaviri, Əməkdaşlıq şöbəsinin rəhbəri Viktor Bojkov çıxış edərək layihənin Azərbaycan və Avropa ali təhsil müəssisələri arasında əlaqələri daha da gücləndirdiyini və Avropa təcrübəsinin öyrənilməsi nöqteyi-nəzərindən vacibliyini qeyd ediblər. Bakı Biznes Universitetinin nümayəndələri öz hesabat-təqdimatlarında ECAR layihəsinin yazılması zərurəti, mövcud olan ehtiyaclar, layihənin əsas məqsədi və hədəfləri, layihənin icra mərhələləri, o cümlədən layihə çərçivəsində fəaliyyət göstərən pilot komitələr haqqında geniş məlumat veriblər. Hesabat-təqimatdan sonra layihə konsorsiumunun üzvü olan 21 universitet tərəfindən imzalanmış tərəfdaşlıq sazişinin təqdim edilməsi mərasimi keçirilib. Yekunda layihənin Avropadan olan tərəfdaşları çıxış edərək öz təəssüratlarını bölüşüblər. Onlar layihənin uğurla yekunlaşmasından məmnun olduqlarını söyləyiblər. Xatırladaq ki, layihə 2020-ci ildə 16 yerli ali təhsil müəssisəsinin iştirakı ilə fəaliyyətə başlayıb, 2024-cü ilə qədər isə iştirakçı təşkilatların sayı 21-ə çatıb. Layihənin əsas məqsədi Azərbaycan ali təhsil müəssisələri arasında şəbəkələşmə və əməkdaşlığın inkişaf etdirilməsi olub.  

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) tələbələri ölkəmizdə ilk dəfə olaraq keçirilən Dünya Robot Çempionatının seçmə mərhələsində iştirak edib. 250-dən çox yeniyetmə və gəncin qatıldığı yarışmada AzTU-nu “Blue Horizon” komandası təmsil edib. Aviamodelizm kateqoriyası üzrə çıxış edən tələbələrimiz 8 komanda arasında 3-cü yerə layiq görülərək finala vəsiqə qazanıb. Qeyd edək ki, “Blue Horizon” komandasının üzvləri: 2-ci kurs tələbələri Tahirə Rəşid, Valeh Gülmətov və Talib Əbilov bu ilin avqust ayında Hindistanın paytaxtı Yeni Dehli şəhərində keçiriləcək Dünya Robot Çempionatının finalında Azərbaycanı təmsil edəcəklər.

The Global Sustainable Development Congress was held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. It was organized by the Times Higher Education (THE) agency. The congress brought together over 3000 global leaders and innovators from more than 100 countries to discuss “Sustainable Development”. During the congress 10 leading local universities were represented at the Azerbaijan Pavilion with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and the organization of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education. Azerbaijan Technical University (Aztu) participated successfully in the event. Subhan Namazov, Vice Rector for Science and Innovation and Bakhtiyar Badalov, the Head of the Research and Development Department represented the university. Aztu staff held meetings with the representatives from different public and private institutions, including the heads of higher education institutions during the four-day Global Sustainable Development Congress. The rankings (QS and THE) and the details of collaboration in the field of scientific research were focused on the discussions.

Igor Nasirov, an employee of the Institute for Sustainable Development organized the second master class titled “Growing Contribution of Azerbaijan to Earth’s Green Future” at Azerbaijan Technical University (Aztu). The master class, titled “Towards green Industrialization from Challenges to Solutions” aimed to highlight the ongoing processes in this field for scientists, researchers, faculty members, and students. The guest of the event, Ekaterina Sazonova, Caspian Sea Countries LWD Domain Champion gave a speech about global trends and practices, Azerbaijan’s contributions to the green world, and the role and significance of women in the industry. Later, the discussions were held with participants on the projects in Azerbaijan during COP29, and the development of important skills related to the contributions to the green future.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) İnsan resursları departamentinin rəhbəri, beynəlxalq ICF sertfikatlı kouç Aytən Şıxəliyeva SABAH qruplarının tələbələrinə kouçluqla bağlı seminar keçib. Məqsəd son dövrlərin əsas təlabat mövzularından biri olan kouçluqla bağlı tələbələrin daha geniş məlumata sahib olması, mənəvi inkişaflarını artıraraq yeni bacarıqlar əldə etməsi olub. Seminarda tələbələrə  kouçluğun şəxslərin həyatındakı rolunda, uğurlarında, şəxsin fərqli mövqədə yer almasında göstərdiyi dəstəkdən danışılıb. Həmçinin “kouçinq”in elmi əsasları, effektiv kouçluq texnikaları, kouçinq prosesinin mərhələləri, ünsiyyət modelləri mövzuları barədə ətraflı məlumat verilib. Sonda tələbələri maraqlandıran suallar cavablandırılıb.
