"International Programming Camp" was held at AzTU

The “International Programming Camp” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist and educator Ramin Mahmudzadeh was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with the joint organization of the ICPC Azerbaijan Community, AzTU’s Institute of Information Technologies and Methodological Support in Education, ADA University, and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.

The camp is one of a series of trainings in preparation for the quarter and semi-final stages of the 2025-2026 International Interuniversity Programming Competition (ICPC).

14 teams from 13 higher education institutions of Azerbaijan and 3 teams from 2 higher education institutions of Belarus (each team represented by 3 students and a team leader), a total of 17 teams, participated in the training.

During the 6-day training, each day, participants were given tasks to design programs for problems on various algorithmic topics and test them in an automatic evaluation system. At the end of the day, the algorithms for optimal solution of the problems were explained. According to the overall results of the 6 competitions, participants were awarded diplomas and certificates.

As part of the “International Programming Camp”, Professor Vladimir Kotov of the Belarusian State University made a presentation on internship and job opportunities at various centers of the “Huawei” company and answered questions of interest to the participants.
