Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) students Seljan Kerimli and Khalida Hajizadeh have been selected to participate in the summer internship program on robotics, which is a joint initiative of Middle East Technical University (METU) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TCCA).
The selection was made among candidates from 7 countries and a total of 12 students were selected to participate in the summer internship program within the framework of this international project. The program will last a total of 6 weeks, the first week of which will consist of theoretical training.
The main goal of the program is to develop robotics technologies and train a new generation of researchers who can apply them in practice, to support research in the field of robotics both within Turkey and internationally, to raise research on robots and artificial intelligence to a higher level, to ensure the integration of robotics technologies into industrial production processes and to develop products using these technologies, as well as to develop unmanned and intelligent systems in line with the needs of the defense industry.
All basic expenses of the students during the internship will be covered by TCCA.
