The Faculty of Special Techniques and Technology of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) held an expanded meeting as part of preparations for the 2025/2026 academic year.
AzTU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Nurali Yusifbeyli, congratulated the teachers on the start of the new academic year. He spoke about the work done to improve the quality of education at the faculty and emphasized the importance of the faculty training personnel for such a strategically important field as the defense industry. Nurali Yusifbeyli noted the importance of continuing activities in this direction more intensively and wished the faculty success in the new academic year.
Then, the Dean of the Faculty of Special Techniques and Technology, Associate Professor Yadullah Babayev, made a speech and noted the importance of adapting the educational process conducted at the faculty to the level of international subject programs. He touched upon the importance of each of the subjects taught at the faculty and expressed the need to further increase the correspondence of subjects with specialties. He also emphasized the importance of preparing students as professional specialists who meet the requirements of the labor market.
The Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty, Doctor of Philosophy in Technology, Goshgar Rasulov, made a comprehensive presentation on the results achieved in the past academic year, the number of newly admitted bachelor's and master's students to the faculty, as well as expectations for the new academic year.
Finally, the opinions of the teachers teaching at the faculty were listened to and the importance of such meetings being continuous was noted.
