A delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training of the Republic of South Africa, Ms. Nomusa Dube-Ncube, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) as part of their visit to our country. The guests met with the Rector of AzTU, Vilayat Valiyev, and representatives of the university.

Welcoming the guests, Rector Vilayat Valiyev expressed his satisfaction with seeing them at AzTU. The Rector informed the guests about the work done at the university, the educational programs implemented, the projects implemented, international cooperation, as well as the future goals of AzTU in various fields.

The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training of the Republic of South Africa, Ms. Nomusa Dube-Ncube, provided extensive information about the higher education system of the country she represents. She noted that higher education institutions of the Republic of South Africa are expanding international cooperation and are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijani higher education institutions in the areas of education and research.

During the meeting, opportunities for mutual exchange of students and academic staff, joint scientific research, and dual diploma programs between AzTU and higher education institutions of the Republic of South Africa were discussed. 

Finally, the guests were introduced to various laboratories and centers of AzTU.
