The Telecommunications and Radiotechnology Museum has been inaugurated at Azerbaijan Technical University (AZTU). The opening ceremony was attended by the university administration, faculty members, students, and industry specialists.

The museum has been established to preserve achievements in the fields of telecommunications and radiotechnology and to pass this knowledge on to future generations. It features unique exhibits reflecting different stages of development in the field, including communication devices, radio equipment, and measurement instruments from various periods.

The museum will also serve as an additional resource in the educational process. Students will have the opportunity to strengthen their practical knowledge, become familiar with real equipment, and gain a deeper understanding of their specialties.

This initiative also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing practical learning opportunities, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by promoting technological awareness and innovation among students.

It is planned to further enrich the museum with new exhibits and expand interactive opportunities for students. The AZTU administration emphasized that such initiatives play an important role in strengthening the university’s scientific potential and increasing young people’s interest in technical fields.
