The Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union Republican Committee (ATİAHİRK), a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK), has awarded named scholarships to 100 students who actively participate in education and the student trade union movement.

Among the recipients are seven students from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU):

• Vusal Bayramov – Faculty of Information Technology and Telecommunications, 4th year, Group 641a2
• Fidan Humbatzade – Faculty of Economics and Management, 4th year, Group 951a1
• Arif Aliyev – Faculty of Metallurgy and Chemical Technology, 4th year, Group 411a1
• Fatima Badalzade – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, 3rd year, Group 502a
• Aqil Baxşıyev – Faculty of SABAH Groups, 4th year, Group 681s1
• Orxan Hasanov – Faculty of Transport and Logistics, 4th year, Group 161a1
• İbrahim Ahadov – Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology, 3rd year, Group 742a

It should be noted that ATİAHİRK’s “Named Scholarship” project has been implemented since 1995. The initiative supports students from various universities across the country who achieve excellent and good academic results while actively participating in the student trade union movement.
