A delegation from Pakistan’s National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) visited the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The delegation was composed of Prof. Dr. Hasan Osman, Pro-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Junaid Khan, Director of Research.
The delegation paid an official visit to the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) for one week. On the first day of the visit, the meeting was attended by AzTU Rector Prof. Dr. Vilayat Valiyev, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Prof. Dr. Subhan Namazov, Vice-Rector for International Relations Dr. Fariz Mammadov, and Director of the Research and Development Department Bakhtiyar Badalov.
During the discussions, the parties explored opportunities to expand cooperation between Azerbaijani and Pakistani universities in the fields of science, education, and innovation. They also discussed the implementation of joint scientific research projects, faculty and student exchange programs, as well as the establishment of joint doctoral programs. The importance of collaboration in modern technology and innovation-oriented research areas was also emphasized.
As part of the visit, a presentation and discussion session was organized for AzTU staff. NUST representatives gave a presentation about the university’s research infrastructure, innovation centers, international cooperation programs, and participation in global projects.
