The Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy continues to take measures to form competitive human capital in accordance with the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development in 2022–2026 and the Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy for 2026–2029. Within this framework, 4SIM cooperates with Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) on the formation of the “Science and Industry Cluster 4.0” and the implementation of the “Program to Support the Development of the Digital Economy”. The program envisages involving more students as interns in the process of preparing roadmaps for technological diagnostics and transformation of local enterprises.
1,177 students and employees of the University have benefited from the “4SI Academy - National Program” within the framework of 4SIM’s partnership with AzTU. They showed more interest in data science, cybersecurity, and STEM on the Coursera platform and received a total of 2,779 international certificates.
It is noted that joint activities are planned to implement training and certification programs for students and teachers, place training and courses created by the University on the Coursera platform within the framework of the "National Program", as well as opportunities for credit recognition and organize hackathons.
