A delegation led by Li Qifang, Chairman of the International Education School of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The delegation included Li Xiaofeng, Deputy Dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Hou Hong, Deputy Director of the Department of Academic Affairs, and Zhang Shuai, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The guests met with AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev and representatives of the university.

Rector Vilayat Valiyev provided the guests with detailed information about the work done at the university in the field of science and research, the implemented dual diploma programs and projects, as well as the innovations brought by AzTU to the education sector of Azerbaijan.

Representatives of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, in turn, made a comprehensive presentation about the university.

A number of issues were discussed at the meeting, such as the implementation of dual diploma programs in the fields of materials science and bioengineering between the two universities, joint research, joint publication of articles, participation in internship programs, organization of joint conferences, as well as student-teacher exchange.
