A meeting was held with newly admitted foreign students at AzTU

A meeting was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with newly admitted foreign students for the 2025/2026 academic year. The purpose of the event was to familiarize foreign students with the university's academic environment, socio-cultural life, rules and procedures, as well as to support their easier adaptation to the educational process.

Vice-Rector for International Relations Fariz Mammadov, Head of the Communication Department Safa Bagirov, and Head of the Foreign Student Admission Sector Sevinj Absalamlı spoke at the event.

Vice-Rector Fariz Mammadov spoke in his speech about the expansion of the university's international relations, the increasing interest of students from different countries in AzTU, and its contribution to the reputation of the educational institution. He noted the importance of constantly closely involving every foreign student studying at AzTU in the university's teaching, research, and social activities.

Head of the Communication Department Safa Bagirov spoke about the conditions created for students to participate in active social life at the university. He provided information about various student clubs and social projects operating at AzTU. He noted that joining these clubs will make a significant contribution to both the social adaptation and personal development of students.

Head of the Foreign Students Admission Sector Sevinj Absalamlı provided detailed information on the admission and teaching process, documentation, organization of classes, placement of students and daily rules. He highlighted the support mechanisms that students can apply to if they encounter any difficulties.

During the meeting, students, in turn, shared their views and asked questions about education and living. Their impressions were listened to and their suggestions were recorded.
