Director of the Library Information Center (LIC) of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Khayala Hajiyeva and her colleague Mahsati Aliyeva have translated the online terminology dictionary in the field of Digital Repositories into Azerbaijani with the joint proposal from COAR "Controlled Open Access Repositories" organization.

It should be noted that COAR is an international association with more than 130 members and partners representing libraries, universities and research institutes from all over the world. COAR unites repository networks by increasing the potential of Open Access, developing legal documents, harmonizing practices and acting as a global voice for repositories. One of the organization's activities is the translation of digital repositories, which are considered a trend in the world in the field of science and education and support for open science and open access into world languages.

Thus, for the first time, AzTU LIC employees succeeded in including terminology in the Azerbaijani language in COAR's online dictionary called "Controlled Vocabulary of Open Access Repositories".
