The delegation led by the rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Vilayat Valiyev held meetings with a number of higher education institutions of this country as part of its visit to the People's Republic of China.
As part of the visit, the AzTU delegation visited Shanghai University of Science and Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University of Engineering Sciences and Tongji University in Shanghai, and Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in Nanjing to discuss cooperation opportunities. During the meetings, cooperation agreements were signed with Shanghai University of Science and Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University of Engineering Sciences and Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology.
It should be noted that the delegation led by the rector was represented by Fariz Mammadov, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Rahid Alakbarli, Director of the Institute of Defense Technologies and Cybersecurity, and Farhad Rustamzade, Protocol Sector Specialist.
