Professor Nizami Yusubov, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), and Associate Professor Arastun Mammadov, Associate Professor of the Department, participated in the international conference “Network for energy supply and energy efficiency (NESEFF): 10th anniversary of the energy supply and energy efficiency network” at the Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU C-S), Germany.

Active NESEFF employees were awarded honorary certificates within the framework of the conference. Professor Nizami Yusubov and Associate Professor Arastun Mammadov were among the awardees.

After the conference, the participants visited the German Center for Air and Space Research, where they got acquainted with the experimental heat pump.

It should be noted that the international NESEFF network was established in September 2015 at the international seminar on “Energy Supply and Energy Efficiency” held in Baku with the participation of AzTU, BTU C-S, National Research University - Moscow Energy Institute, and the National Mining  University of Ukraine. Currently, a total of more than 20 universities and research centers from Azerbaijan, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Ukraine operate within the network.
