Staff members of the Quality Assurance Department of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Nermin Khasayeva, Afaq Ismailzada, and Hamida Hasanova, participated in a four-day training program on the topic “Quality Assurance System in Higher Education” held at Baku State University.

The training program, which took place from May 5 to 8, was organized within the framework of a memorandum signed between Azerbaijani universities and Kırşehir Ahi Evran University of Turkey. The event was supported by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and organized by the Quality Assurance Center of Baku State University.

In addition to representatives from AzTU, participants from Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Khazar University, and Ganja State University also attended the training. During the sessions, presentations and discussions were held on the establishment and development of quality assurance systems in higher education.

Vice-Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Hüseyin Şimşek, emphasized the importance of experience exchange between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of higher education, noting that this initiative plays a significant role in terms of strategic partnership.

At the end of the training program, participants were awarded certificates.
