The delegation of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) held an official visit to the State of Israel. The main goal of the visit was to establish and expand cooperation between AzTU and leading universities in the fields of scientific research, education and innovation.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation visited leading higher education institutions in Israel such as Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Holon Institute of Technology, the Check Point cybersecurity company, and the Jerusalem Innovation Center. During the meetings, the AzTU delegation provided extensive information about the university they represent. It was emphasized that AzTU is interested in cooperation in the implementation of bilateral educational and research projects, teacher-student exchange, participation in international rankings, writing joint scientific articles, implementing dual diplomas and scientific supervision.
As part of the visit, the delegation also participated in the 4th Annual Seminar of HUT and its Eurasian and Balkan Partners on “Artificial Intelligence, Resilience and Digital Heritage” organized at the Holon University of Technology (HUT). Rahid Alakbarli delivered a report at the seminar.
It should be noted that the delegation was represented by Fariz Mammadov, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Rahid Alakbarli, Director of the Institute for Defense Technologies and Cybersecurity, and Elshan Gurbanov, Head of the Project Management Sector of the International Relations Department.
