An online seminar dedicated to the "International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking" was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) jointly organized by the Communication Department and the Student Youth Organization (TGT). About 50 students of the university participated in the seminar.

Mehti Namazov, an employee of the AzTU Communication Department, noted that drug addiction has become the scourge of the century today and drew attention to the widespread campaigns to struggle this in our country. Mehti Namazov said that educational events form the basis of these campaigns, and AzTU has repeatedly held events on this topic.

During his speech, the head of the Department of Humanities, Habib Mirzayev, emphasized that drugs cause a number of serious complications and advised young people to stay away from them and other harmful habits, and to devote more time to education and sports.

Then, TGT activist Elnur Ismayilov and AzTU graduate Isa Sattarov shared their views on the topic.

The seminar ended with the screening of a video clip titled “Let's say no to drug addiction!” prepared by AzTU students.
