A number of engineering programs offered at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) have been successfully accredited by the AQAS Standing Commission (Agentur für Qualitätssicherung durch Akkreditierung von Studiengängen).
The accreditation was carried out as a cluster consisting of five study programs:
As part of the accreditation process, an AQAS expert panel conducted a site visit to AzTU on 27–31 October 2025. During the visit, the cluster of five programs was comprehensively evaluated in terms of curriculum content, quality of teaching, infrastructure, and governance mechanisms.
Based on the evaluation results, the programs were found to comply with international standards and have been accredited until 31 March 2032.
This achievement once again confirms the international recognition of the quality of engineering education at Azerbaijan Technical University and highlights the university’s strong academic and research capacity. The accreditation also provides significant advantages for students, including internationally recognized degrees and enhanced competitiveness in the labor market.
Azerbaijan Technical University will continue its efforts to further improve the quality of its academic programs and expand international cooperation.
