From June 16 to 19, 2025, Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) is proudly representing itself at the Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC) held in Istanbul. The congress is organized by the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) ranking agency and gathers leading academic institutions from around the world. 

A delegation of nearly 50 representatives from 12 leading universities in Azerbaijan, under the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, participates in the event. At the Azerbaijan pavilion, universities showcase their successful initiatives, projects, and research outcomes in the field of sustainable development to the international scientific community. 

This important international platform provides AzTU with opportunities to establish new collaborations and exchange experiences, while further promoting the university’s efforts towards sustainable development to a broader audience. 

Participation in the congress enhances AzTU’s activity within international scientific networks and creates significant opportunities to strengthen its position in the field of sustainable development.
