A training on “Startup and Innovation” was held for students at the Incubation Center of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with the participation of employees of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDIA).

IDIA project managers Nigar Davud, Khumar Jamilli and Aydin Samadov participated in the training and shared their knowledge and experience with the students.

Within the framework of the session, the participants were presented with basic concepts in the startup ecosystem and innovation field. During the training, extensive discussions were held on the topics of “The concept of startup and its essence”, “What is innovation and the importance of an innovative approach”, “The differences between a startup and an ordinary business idea”, “Prototype and MVP concepts”, “Innovation and support programs”, “Ways to start innovation as a student”.

At the end of the training, questions of interest to the students were answered, the participants’ opinions on the topic were listened to and interactive discussions were held.
