A meeting was held with the first-year students of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications Leyla Mammadova provided information about the activities of the faculty, specialties and programs, skills and career opportunities (cooperation with IT Academies, Code Academy), as well as planned hackathons, startup competitions, projects and exchange programs. She emphasized that the main goal of the faculty is not limited to sharing scientific knowledge, but also to form responsible and patriotic citizens.

Academic advisor Safa Asadova provided students with information about the credit system applied in the higher education system and other important information.

Deputy Dean for International Relations Aytan Movsumova, Deputy Dean for Social Issues, Public Relations and Infrastructure Ulviyya Karimova brought relevant information to the attention of students.

Director of the Library Information Center Khayala Hajiyeva informed students about the opportunities created in the center.

Safa Bagirov, Head of the Communication Department, shared his opinions on the effective organization of students' social activities. He invited students with special talents to join the clubs they will create.
