Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Vilayat Valiyev met the regional director of "Quacquarelli Symonds" (QS) Sergey Khristolyubov.

The Rector emphasized the importance of the contract to be signed for increasing AzTU's international competitiveness in world rankings. He noted that the main priorities of the university are the improvement of academic indicators, the increase of publications in scientific databases, and the training of personnel in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. Rector also spoke about the importance of cooperation with QS.

Sergey Khristolyubov, regional director of QS, said that special attention is paid to increasing AzTU's global competitiveness and advancement in international rankings.

Later, a cooperation agreement was signed between AzTU and QS. Within the framework of the agreement, it was agreed to increase AzTU's global competitiveness, expand its recognition in the international arena, and strengthen its reputation.
