The next national volleyball championship among students of higher educational institutions has ended. 15 teams participated in the tournament. The team of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) was awarded the second place in the final stage of the tournament, which took place under conditions of intense sports competition.

On the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev the architect and founder of the state of Azerbaijan, the world-famous political figure, the leadership and staff of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) laid flowers in front of the grave of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and paid tribute to his memory.

Qonaqlar əvvəlcə AzTU-nun ərazisində təşkil edilən infoturda iştirak ediblər. Daha sonra keçirilən görüşdə AzTU-da həyata keçirilən yeniliklər barədə abituriyentlərə məlumat verilib və videoçarx nümayiş olunub. Videoçarxda universitetin tarixi, fakültələr, ixtisaslar, beynəlxalq əlaqələr, ikili diplom proqramları, laboratoriyalar, karyera imkanları və digər vacib məlumatlar abituriyentlərin diqqətinə çatdırılıb.

The preliminary stage of the international startup competition "Finding innovative and creative solutions" was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World". A total of 22 teams from 10 higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan participated in the competition jointly organized by AzTU and the National University of Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (METU). The goal is to involve university teachers and students in contributing to the solution of global problems with innovative ideas.

The spartakiada dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, held among students, teachers and employees, was concluded in the sports hall of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) achieved great success in the semi-final stage of the world's largest robot festival "Robotex" held in Antalya, Turkey on April 20-21. Each of the 2 AzTU teams participating in the competition won. Thus, the teams of AzTU doctoral students Turkana Kahramanli and Khumara Kahramanli won first place in the competition at the university level in the categories "Water rally" and "Girls' Firefighting". It should be noted that the "Robotex" festival founded in Estonia is considered the world's largest robot competition. The rector of AzTU Vilayat Valiyev met with the winners and wished them success in future competitions.

A delegation led by the rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Vilayat Valiyev visited the Baku Shipyard. During the visit representatives of AzTU met with the chairman of the board of the plant Elshad Nuriyev and employees. At the meeting ideas were exchanged in the direction of the development of university-industry cooperation, AzTU bachelor students' production at the plant, master's students' scientific-research experience and doctoral students' involvement in scientific-research work. Besides joint conferences and career exhibitions were also discussed. At the end of the meeting a memorandum on cooperation between the university and the enterprise was signed. Later the AzTU delegation visited the territory of the plant and got acquainted with the work done here.

A meeting was held with the students of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) who have won the right to participate in the experience and research-based mobility program at the University of Agrarian and Ecological Pedagogy operating in Vienna, Austria. At the meeting employees of the International Relations Department informed the participants about the program. It was noted that the mentioned project is being implemented within the framework of the project "Increasing the capacity of universities in starting and participating in the development of clusters with the principles of innovation and sustainability" (UniClaD) of the "Erasmus+ KA2" program funded by the European Union in which AzTU is a partner.

The State Examination Center has established another "Applicant Advisory Center" at the Azerbaijan Technical University (Address: 25 H.Cavid Avenue, Building 1, Room 120).  In the Counseling Center, specially trained staff provide prospective students with free assistance on admission rules, application acceptance for higher and vocational education institutions, the procedure for filling and validating the "Online Admission of the Applicant", resolving any technical issues that may arise during this process, competition conditions, and important considerations when choosing a specialization.  Applicants can address their questions to the "Applicant Counseling Centers" on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  A cooperation agreement has been signed between AzTU and Istanbul Aydın University.   A delegation led by Mustafa Aydın, the founder of Turkey's Istanbul Aydın University, has visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).  The guests met with AzTU rector Vilayat Valiyev and representatives of the university. Rector Vilayat Valiyev provided the guests with detailed information about the ongoing work and innovations at AzTU.  Mustafa Aydın gave a comprehensive presentation about Istanbul Aydın University, which he founded. During the meeting, opportunities for collaboration in various fields were discussed.  Subsequently, a cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities.

The guests met with the rector of AzTU, Viliayat Valiyev and representatives of the university. Rector Vilayat Valiyev gave detailed information to the guests about the work done at AzTU and the innovations implemented. Mustafa Aydın made an extensive presentation about Istanbul Aydın University which he founded. During the meeting opportunities for cooperation in relevant areas were discussed. Later a cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities.
