Dövlət İmtahan Mərkəzi (DİM) tərəfindən keçirilən qəbul imtahanlarında yüksək bal toplayan abituriyentlər Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinə (AzTU) ekskursiya edib. Abituriyentlərə AzTU-da görülən işlər, həyata keçirilən layihələr, ikili diplom proqramları, beynəlxalq əlaqələr və s. barədə ətraflı məlumat verilib. Daha sonra abituriyentlər AzTU-nun kampusu ilə tanış olub, laboratoriya və auditoriyalara baxış keçiriblər.

2024-2025-ci tədris ilində Türkiyə-Azərbaycan Universitetinə (TAU) tələbə qəbulu aparılacaq. Bunun üçün abituriyentlər 9-19 avqust tarixlərində ixtisas seçimində iştirak edərək TAU-nun tədris ingilis dilində aparılacaq ixtisaslarını (kompüter mühəndisliyi, sənaye mühəndisliyi, qida mühəndisliyi) seçə bilərlər. TAU-da tədris prosesinə Türkiyədən Orta Doğu Teknik Universiteti, İstanbul Tekniki Universiteti və Haccettepe Universiteti, Azərbaycandan isə Azərbaycan Texniki Universiteti tərəfdaş kimi cəlb olunub.

Azərbaycan Texniki Universitetinin (AzTU) SABAH qrupları tələbələri (bakalavriat və magistratura səviyyəsi üzrə) Rəqəmsal İnkişaf və Nəqliyyat Nazirliyi (RİNN) ilə İsrailin Texnion Universitetinin əməkdaşlığı çərçivəsində keçirilən təhsil layihəsində yüksək nəticə göstəriblər. Belə ki, AzTU “SABAH Magistratura” proqramlarının kibertəhlükəsizlik ixtisasında təhsil alan Əfqan Qədirov Azərbaycan Kibertəhlükəsizlik Mərkəzinin (AKM) 3-cü dalğasında ən yüksək ortalama göstərici ilə 1-ci yerə layiq görülüb. Digər tələbələrə isə fəqrləndikləri üçün sertifikat təqdim olunub. AzTU rektoru Vilayət Vəliyev təlimdə qalib olan və uğur qazanan tələbələrlə görüşüb, onlara uğurlar arzu edib. Qeyd edək ki, təhsil layihəsi çərçivəsində İsrailin Texnion Universitetinin müəllimləri AKM-in 3-cü dalğasına müraciət etmiş 1907 namizədin həm İT biliklərini yoxlayıb, həm də müsahibə bacarıqlarını testdən keçirib. Hər iki mərhələdə uğur qazanmış namizədlərə “Blue team” və “Red team” istiqamətində 6 aylıq təlimlər təşkil edilib.     

Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) is participating in the university fair organized by the State Examination Center. The aim of the fair is to familiarize applicants with the opportunities available at higher education institutions before making their specialty choice and to support them in determining their field of study. Visitors to the fair have the opportunity to interact directly with AzTU representatives, ask questions, and get answers regarding specialties, academic programs, infrastructure, tuition fees, scholarships, and other related matters. Within the framework of the fair, AzTU will present a more detailed overview for applicants at designated halls and times. It should be noted that around 40 public and private higher education institutions operating in the country, as well as various organizations, have set up booths at the fair. The fair will continue until August 2, 2024.

Professor Huseyngulu Guliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Energy and Automation at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), participated in the international scientific conference on "Methodological Issues of Reliability of Large Energy Systems" held in Arkhangelsk, Russia. Professor Guliyev presented two scientific reports: "Determining the Optimal Size of Hybrid AC-DC Distributed Generation Systems with Renewable Sources for Autonomous Power Supply of Remote Areas" and "Selection of Controlled Shunt Reactors for 330 kV Voltage Electric Networks and Study of Their Operating Regimes." The first report by AzTU’s professor focused on the theoretical and methodological aspects of applying hybrid systems based on green energy technologies for ensuring reliable power supply to remote areas. His second presentation discussed the optimal placement of controlled shunt reactors to increase the reliability of energy systems and the study of their operating regimes. The materials of both reports have been accepted for publication in periodicals indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RESI) and the Scopus database.

The Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Vilayat Valiyev, met with Shahmar Hajiyeva, Director of the Information Security Department of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), and other staff members of the agency. The main purpose of the meeting was to identify new areas and forms of collaboration between AzTU and IDDA for the development of the cybersecurity ecosystem. Speaking about the importance of university-industry cooperation, Rector Vilayat Valiyev emphasized that the joint activities of AzTU and the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center (ACC), which operates under IDDA, in the field of cybersecurity are commendable and will contribute to enhancing the skills of students in this area. It was noted that, as part of the collaboration, a joint roadmap would be developed between AzTU and ACC to address the existing shortage of professional personnel in the field of cybersecurity. Additionally, the discussion covered topics such as providing cybersecurity training for AzTU faculty and students by ACC staff, as well as encouraging the creation of new startups in this field and establishing cyber clubs.

Caglar Ceylan, a research engineer at the Center of Excellence in Metal Forming at Atılım University in Turkey, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) under the Erasmus+ exchange program. During his visit, Caglar Ceylan conducted a training session, met with faculty and department staff, and toured the laboratories to learn about the ongoing work. He also gave a detailed presentation about Atılım University and the activities of the Center of Excellence in Metal Forming.

"Open door" day of students was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). Students of classes X and XI, as well as their teachers, participated in the "Open Door" day.  At the meeting, applicants were informed about the innovations implemented at AzTU. The history of the university, faculties, specializations, international relations, dual degree programs, laboratories, career opportunities and other important information have been brought to the attention of applicants.  Later, the students got acquainted with the AzTU campus.

As part of the Erasmus+KA2 project, "Strategic Quality Management and Risk Management in Healthcare: Professional Bachelor's and Master's Education in Open and Distance Learning Formats in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan" (LMQS), a training session for healthcare professionals was held. The training was organized on the topic of "Healthcare Management." The training was led by Parvin Soltanli, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Statistics, and Murshud Mehdiyev, Associate Professor at the Department of International Trade, Logistics, and Marketing. In her opening remarks, Fərqanə Musayeva, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, welcomed the healthcare professionals and provided them with detailed information about the project and the newly launched Master's program in "Quality and Risk Management in Healthcare." She also emphasized the importance of such training for healthcare workers. During the training, a range of topics essential for healthcare professionals were covered, including communication and soft skills, key principles and strategies of healthcare management, challenges in decision-making, and potential solutions.

“Rusiya Federasiyası, Qazaxıstan və Azərbaycanda səhiyyədə strateji keyfiyyət menecmenti və risklərin idarə olunması üzrə açıq və distant təhsil formatında peşə bakalavrı və magistr hazırlığı” (LMQS) layihəsi üzrə Fransada yeni yaradılan tədris proqramı üzrə təlimlər təşkil edilib. Təlimlər layihənin Avropa tərəfdaşı olan Kot d’Azur Universitetində keçirilib. Səfərdə AzTU-nu beynəlxalq əlaqələr üzrə prorektor Fariz Məmmədov və İqtisadiyyat və idarəetmə fakültəsinin dekanı Fərqanə Musayeva təmsil edib. Tədbir layihə çərçivəsində yaradılan “Səhiyyədə keyfiyyətin və risklərin idarə olunması” magistr proqramının məzmununun təkmilləşdirilməsinə xidmət edib. 10 gün davam edən təlimlərdə tədris modullarının hazırlanması, Boloniya prosesinə uyğun tədrisin təşkili, ikili diplom proqramlarının və distant təhsilin təşkili, eyni zamanda səhiyyədə keyfiyyət və risklərlərin idarə olunması ilə bağlı mövzularda təqdimatlar edilib.
