On July 2, a ceremony was held to present the Honorary Doctorate of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) to Ersin Tatar, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
First, the bust of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was visited in the AzTU lobby.
Welcoming the participants of the event, AzTU Rector Vilayat Veliyev spoke about Ersin Tatar's services to the unity of the Turkic world.
Later, Ersin Tatar, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, was presented with an Honorary Doctorate.
Ersin Tatar, Honorary Doctor of AzTU and President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, in turn, expressed his gratitude and emphasized that he would continue to make efforts towards the solidarity of the Turkic world.
