As part of the events held to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MODI), another infotour was organized for students of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) to one of the MODI institutions.

First, the infotour participants visited the monument of the founder and architect of the modern Azerbaijani state, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, erected on the territory of the institution, and observed a minute of silence in memory of the Great Leader and our martyrs who gave their lives for the Motherland.

The students were provided with detailed information about the history, stages of development and modern capabilities of the defense industry of Azerbaijan. It was noted that the defense industry of Azerbaijan, founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, is successfully developing today under the leadership of Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, and further strengthening this area in our country is one of the priorities of state policy. It was noted that in the Patriotic War, Azerbaijani weapons showed their strength and power to the enemy in practical combat conditions, and it was said that ensuring reliable armament of our Army with domestically produced military products created conditions for the successful implementation of combat operations.

Then, the students were introduced to the production process of the enterprise and their questions were answered.

The participants expressed their gratitude to the management of the Ministry of Education for organizing such educational tours and expressed their wish for such events to be continuous.
