In accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security (SCIS), a series of master classes are organized for AzTU students every semester.
The next master class was held on the topic of “Digital Forensics: Ensuring Reliable Evidence in Cybersecurity and Legal Processes”. During the speech, the participants were informed about the processes of collecting, protecting and analyzing digital evidence, ensuring the integrity and immutability of evidence, applying digital forensics approaches during incidents, as well as international standards and methodologies for maintaining the legal force of digital artifacts. At the same time, the role of forensic processes in investigating cybersecurity incidents and the importance of strengthening institutional capacity in this area were emphasized.
