An initial meeting was held between the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and the SEforALL (Sustainable Energy for All) organization. The meeting, held online, was attended by Fariz Mammadov, Vice-Rector for International Relations from AzTU, and Nijat Huseynov, Acting Director of the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development, and Mikael Melin, Director of Cooperation and Development of the organization, and Yasaman Sharif, an employee of the organization, from SEforALL.

The main purpose of the meeting was to evaluate potential areas of cooperation between AzTU and SEforALL, to create synergy between the university's research potential in sustainable and renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency and climate change and SEforALL's global initiatives.

The parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation with SEforALL in 2026, providing scientific and methodological support to the organization's projects in the future by the faculty, presenting analytical approaches, and organizing joint events.
