Students of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (ASUCA) have successfully completed their internship at the Library Information Center (LIC) of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev met with the interns and presented them with a letter of appreciation for their active participation in the reconstruction of the Library Information Center and the opening ceremony.

The Rector was informed that during the internship, the students acquired modern knowledge in their specialties, gained practical knowledge and skills in academic databases, bibliometrics, cataloging, international bookkeeping rules, etc.

The students also participated in the ongoing reconstruction work at the LIC, listened to a report on bibliographic and bibliometric databases, participated in international webinars on the “Web of Science” platform, academic databases such as "IEEE", "DOAJ", "EBSCO" and received certificates.

In addition, the interns participated in the installation of library technology, were trained in the software of the new technology, and learned the working principles of the equipment.
