Within the framework of the 75th anniversary of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), the university's Theater Club once again staged the comedy "The Story of Monsieur Jordan and the Dervish Mastali Shah" by playwright Mirza Fatali Akhundov. Members of the Theater Club presented the play in front of the AzTU administration, employees and students.

The interesting stage design and the acting skills of the students were accompanied by applause from the audience.

It should be noted that the essence of the work, written in Azerbaijani in 1850, is the criticism of illiteracy and ignorance, and the development of human life by changing science.

After the play, rector Vilayat Valiyev talked with the students and thanked them for the interesting presentation. He noted that a number of projects are being implemented at AzTU to organize students' leisure time, and various student clubs operate. The rector positively assessed the students' participation in the aforementioned clubs and wished them success in their next projects.

The students, in turn, thanked the AzTU administration for the attention shown to them and the conditions created.
