On June 17, the Ministry of Defense Industry (MoD) organized an info tour to one of the ministry's institutions for first-year students of the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). About 20 students participated in the info tour.

First, the participants visited the monument to the founder and architect of the modern Azerbaijani state, the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, erected on the territory of the institution, and observed a minute of silence in memory of the Great Leader and our martyrs who gave their lives for the Motherland.

The students were given detailed information about the achievements in the field of defense industry in our country and the development of our national military industrial potential under the leadership of the worthy successor of the National Leader, President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that various types of weapons, ammunition and technical equipment produced at the MND's institutions made a significant contribution to achieving the glorious Victory by increasing the efficiency of combat operations during the Patriotic War.

Then, the participants of the info tour got acquainted with the production process, and the specialists of the Ministry of Defense answered their questions.

It should be noted that the Faculty of Special Techniques and Technology of AzTU has been operating since 2012, based on the relevant Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers and the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, with the aim of training qualified personnel in the field of defense industry.
