Nijat Huseynov and Shamkhal Aliyev, teachers of the Faculty of Energy of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), visited Istanbul Technical University, Yıldız Technical University and Arel University, which are among the leading higher education institutions in Turkey.
The main purpose of the visit was to develop inter-university cooperation, implement joint scientific research projects and expand student-teacher exchange.
Within the framework of the visit to Istanbul Technical University, the expansion of scientific cooperation between the two higher education institutions and mutual relations in the direction of future joint projects were discussed.
AzTU representatives closely familiarized themselves with the material and technical base and laboratories of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Istanbul Technical University.
At a meeting with Vatan Karakaya, Vice-Rector of Yıldız Technical University, the parties emphasized the importance of developing the existing traditions of cooperation in the field of education between Azerbaijan and Turkey. Then, the delegation met with the faculty of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics and got acquainted with the modern laboratories operating under the faculty. Here, the participants were provided with detailed information about the projects implemented at the university and the directions of cooperation with industry.
The meeting held at Arel University included a presentation on the general structure of the university, the organization of the educational process, international cooperation programs, and opportunities created for students. AzTU representatives got acquainted with the modern material and technical base of Arel University, as well as the "Industry 4.0" laboratory, renewable energy, virtual reality laboratories, and other research centers.
