Representatives of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) took part in International Cooperation Week hosted by Alte University in Tbilisi, Georgia. Manzar Mammadli, Head of the International Cooperation and Exchange Sector of AzTU’s International Relations Department, and Aysel Badalova, Chief Specialist of the same sector, represented the university at the event.
The week-long program brought together representatives from eight universities across Azerbaijan, Turkey, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, and Ukraine. The agenda focused on key themes such as internationalization strategies, global cooperation, university rankings, and the enhancement of academic mobility. A series of workshops and an exhibition were also held, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and networking.
During the event, AzTU representatives engaged in productive discussions with counterparts from participating universities and members of Alte University’s International Relations Department.
These conversations centered on potential collaborative projects, student and staff exchange programs, and joint academic initiatives.
As a result of the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Azerbaijan Technical University and Alte University, marking a new step forward in fostering academic and research cooperation.
