Professor Vagif Hasanov, Head of the Department of Energy Efficiency and Green Energy Technologies of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), participated in the Uzbekistan International Scientific and Practical Conference. At the conference, jointly organized by Samarkand Architecture and Construction University and I.Karimov Tashkent State Technical University, Vagif Hasanov delivered a report on “Innovative Technologies in Architecture, Engineering, Education and Environmental Protection”. Discussions were held around the report, which was met with interest by the conference participants.

As part of the visit, the AzTU professor visited the relevant departments of I.Karimov Tashkent State Technical University and Samarkand Architecture and Construction University, and inspected the research laboratories. Also, during the meetings with the heads of the structural divisions of both universities, specific directions for future cooperation were identified. During the meetings, opinions were exchanged on the development of cooperation between universities, implementation of joint projects, exchange of students and teachers, joint scientific publications and participation in international programs.

The visit is of great importance for the departments in terms of strengthening international scientific relations and exchanging experience in the application of innovative technologies in the field of engineering.
