A meeting was held with the graduates of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) (formerly Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute) in 1970. The meeting was dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the graduates' graduation from the university.

The meeting was attended by the rector of AzTU, Vilayat Valiyev, and the head of the Career and Employment Center, Ulviyya Rasulova.

It was noted that the meeting was organized by Abil Aliyev, a representative of the group (665) of the electronic devices specialty of the former Faculty of Automation and Computing.

Rector Vilayat Valiyev drew attention to the existing relations between AzTU and its alumni. He stated that AzTU alumni are very valuable for the university and relations with them will always be continued. The Rector spoke about the projects implemented at AzTU to further develop cooperation with alumni.

In turn, the alumni shared the most interesting events they remembered from their university years.
