The working visit of the delegation led by AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev to Finland continues. As part of the visit, the delegation held working meetings at the University of Turku, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.
At the University of Turku, the main focus was on cooperation in the fields of data science, artificial intelligence and digital systems, as well as preliminary agreements on joint scientific research, PhD programs and participation in international projects.
The meetings with Metropolia University of Applied Sciences focused on cooperation in applied engineering and innovation. During the meeting, cooperation directions were determined on the implementation of the dual education model, the creation of a rapid prototyping laboratory, innovation projects involving students, startup programs and industry-oriented training mechanisms.
During the meetings held at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, an agreement was reached on joint activities on artificial intelligence and technological entrepreneurship in education.
It should be noted that the AzTU delegation was represented by Aynura Ismayilova, Director of the Institute of Higher Education, and Nijat Huseynov, Acting Director of the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development.
