A delegation led by the rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Vilayat Valiyev visited the Baku Shipyard.

During the visit representatives of AzTU met with the chairman of the board of the plant Elshad Nuriyev and employees.

At the meeting ideas were exchanged in the direction of the development of university-industry cooperation, AzTU bachelor students' production at the plant, master's students' scientific-research experience and doctoral students' involvement in scientific-research work. Besides joint conferences and career exhibitions were also discussed.

At the end of the meeting a memorandum on cooperation between the university and the enterprise was signed.

Later the AzTU delegation visited the territory of the plant and got acquainted with the work done here.
