A delegation of leading German university administrators visited Baku as a part of a program organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Within the framework of the visit, meetings were organized between German and Azerbaijani universities, facilitated by DAAD.

Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) was represented at these meetings by Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Subhan Namazov, Vice-Rector for International Relations Fariz Mammadov, Head of the Academic Department Arastun Mammadov, and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technologies Nizami Yusifov.

During the meetings, the German universities were introduced to AzTU, and potential areas of cooperation were discussed.
