The company of Huawei "Open Door" day was held at AzTU

The "Open Door" Day of the Chinese company "Huawei" was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).A delegation led by Angela Li, Vice President of the company, attended the "Open Door" day.At the event, AzTU students were presented with the company's educational and scholarship programs, job opportunities, and proper application procedures.

AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev welcomed the participants of the "Open Door" Day and also provided information about the contents of the memorandum of understanding signed between Huawei and AzTU.The rector, who highly appreciated this cooperation, said that joint projects with the company are planned within the framework of university-industry cooperation in the future.Wang Qi, Vice President of Huawei for the Middle East and Central Asia, said that the company is a leading global provider of information and communication technologies (ICT) and smart devices.He gave an extensive presentation about the company's mission and vision.

Wei Zijian, Head of Human Resources Department for the Middle East and Central Asia at Huawei, said that AzTU is a higher education institution that directly participates in training talented young people in the field of engineering and technology in Azerbaijan.The university collaborates with well-known brands in the global arena to ensure that students are trained as highly qualified personnel.

He noted that AzTU students will benefit from Huawei's opportunities, and the company will support in revealing the potential of talented young people.Tural Garibov, a graduate of AzTU's radio engineering and telecommunications engineering department and also an employee of Huawei, shared his experience with the company, his professional career, and his contributions to personal development.Alice Duan, Director of Huawei's ICT Talent Development Program for the Middle East and Central Asia, spoke about the education, scholarship and internship, and certification programs offered by the company for AzTU students, as well as the ICT Academy, ICT summer camp, and career fairs for talented youth, and invited students to take advantage of these opportunities.After the speeches, a question and answer quiz was held for AzTU students. The winners were awarded with gifts from Huawei.
