An informational training on types of leave was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The training, organized by the Human Resources Management Department, was conducted by the head of the department, Ayten Shikhaliyeva.

The goal was to inform employees about the rules for granting, calculating, and using leave, as well as their reflection in labor legislation.

Ayten Shikhaliyeva said that leave is calculated for the employee's working year, that is, for the next 12 months from the date the employee started work, where the employee's length of service, workload, and other aspects are also taken into account.

Then, Ayten Shikhaliyeva provided detailed information to the participants about the leave period provided for academic and administrative staff, the main and additional leave, the minimum leave period, the principles of their operation, and the procedure for calculating them.

Finally, the participants' questions were answered.
